There is a bit of a double-edge to it being hard to rouse a sleeping beast when its belly is full. Makes it easier to combat division when times are good, but hard-if-not-possible to convince that nation to proactively fight against elements that are actively looking to divide if not destroy itself.
It took the Left decades of subversion to reach a point where they could readily convince a group of people that a land of relative-freedom and plenty is a desolate, nightmarish hellscape.
Blindly shouting out that the US needs to transformed or be destroyed, spreading their message of the inherent inequality of the system on their smartphones and Macs, with a Starbucks coffee in hand, wearing decent clothes, driving their personal vehicles, going to a warm and safe place to sleep every night.
Not knowing bad but saying life is bad, calling for a system of governance under which more people have died than under any other system, but refusing to acknowledge (really conditioned to ignore) this fact.
Let's see....
Cracky McMethhead, The Mighty Whitey Simp, Black Divine, and... uh... fat Cardi B?
Except in the European market; only Pizza Huts survived there.
You do have something there. They're currently lining their pockets with funny money -- to the tune of billions -- to turn it into tangible assets like property, precious metals, and other resources, before the dollar crashes hard and not even a wheelbarrow full of Benjamins could buy a loaf of bread.
We devalue their holdings to zero, and we get to laugh as the playing field becomes a bit more level.
The Left's biggest mistake is making the Right as uncomfortable, if not more so, than they currently feel, spurning them to action.
The Left's discomfort is brought about by conditioning and falsehoods: America is racist, America is sexist, only Western Europeans and their descendants are capable of committing acts of evil, capitalism has caused more death and misery than communism, etc., etc., etc.
The Right, meanwhile, is beginning to feel discomfort from tangible sources: we're being economically disadvantaged by government overreach, we're being targeted by systemic oppression because of our religious beliefs and skin color, we're being demonized because we believe in personal responsibility and self-determination, and we're watching the entire political system blatantly steal away our vote while their media cronies lie about it and the judiciary laughs at us for trying to challenge it.
I can't say whether there's still enough of our Republic left to actually save, or if we're going to have to let it burn down so we can build something better from its ruins, but I do believe when it comes right down to it the Left and their masters are going to have a hell of a fight on their hands, and it's all because they can't help but prod the sleeping beast they think they've already felled.
Why do you think guns and ammo were bought in record space this year?
Simple: between the Marxist riots and the severe overreaction to the Wu Flu the veneer of the security and stability of civilization was lifted from the eyes of many lifelong sheep. But, a sheep with a rifle is still a sheep.
Give the conditioning a bit more time, let the economy crash for a while, and allow the Globalists and their lackeys to promise an end to the misery, and the population at large will gladly give up their newly-obtained arms and all their rights for the promise of security-cum-serfdom.
I truly think this is because most people are born followers -- a natural consequence of our tribal identity; their ability to resist is next to nothing, unless they're following someone with an inherent inclination towards recognizing and discarding bullshit.
We shall see.
Pence is a bit more swampy than people here seem willing to bring up; his association with MAGA as Trump's Veep -- and a healthy dose of meme magic -- clouded his establishment sins.
Like any other establishment Republican, we have to lean on him hard to do the right thing, otherwise he's just as likely to slip back to Uniparty norms and betray the American people.
One of the most amusing things I find about Kurt Russell is how he can never discuss politics with John Carpenter, since Kurt is a rock-solid conservative, and John Carpenter... isn't. It just causes major arguments to spring up between the two.
Shame Carpenter is a lefty looney, since he's written and directed some truly kick-ass movies, and composes awesome music. At least he's never let his views poison his work, which is more than I can say for virtually anyone else in the Hollywood machine, frequent Carpenter collaborator Jamie Lee Curtis included.
You're damn right it's true!
I've worked in the tactical gear and firearms industry for over a decade now. The amount of LE ass kissing that goes on is troubling - understandable given the interplay of the industry and the military-industrial complex, but people also need to realize that these police and government agents that they're venerating will also be the ones who will enforce the laws and edicts of the tyrant class to disarm the populace.
I've always been taught to be wary of law enforcement, and having experienced first hand how worthless they can be when you need them, I'm no backer of the blue, at all.
It's something I have to keep largely to my self, if only for the sake of professional decorum, but if a gun company or two decided not to offer an LE discount program, and not to sell to agencies, well, you wouldn't hear me complaining.
We're at war, but only one side is fighting.
It's sickening, and it's not even clear how to fight back. They've got large swathes of the populace distracted or brainwashed, and our politicians in their back pocket.
I don't want to give up; it's not an option. But, I'm at a loss at how to continue, beyond feeling this seething rage at what's become of my country.
Oh, I've been extremely resistant to actually getting a license to carry in my state (Texas), specifically because it's unconstitutional as hell to ask a citizen to receive permission from the state to be able to carry an armament to defend themselves.
But, try getting any normie to swallow that pill; it's impossible.
I finally took the class, but guess what? Between covid and the huge uptick in license requests, it'll probably be 3 months before I get one. Of fucking course bureaucracy would get in the way of personal defense.
Legislation was proposed (again) to introduce constitutional carry to the state next year, but good luck on that one passing - it would shut down a revenue stream, and you can never depend on government to deny itself money.
Which is true. The Democrats never really lost their slaves.
Instead of shackling them in irons, they shackled them with the taxpayer's dime.
Razorfist has claimed that Styx and a couple other "content creators" are just hedging their bets. Sad take to have as a political commentator, but understandable, if you're weak.
I say Styx in a comfortable position as a mouthpiece who's not even US-based currently; he's sitting pretty in The Netherlands with his wife, living off his follower-bucks and making cooking videos -- doesn't have skin in the game, as he is.
His message doesn't have any nuance beyond: "Hey, everyone. I'm a pagan weirdo. Also, get ready to subsist on nothing but non-perishables for the next 4 years as Biden and his cabal crash our economies, open our borders, tax us all penniless, and make concrete our lack of freedoms. But, hey, just because they stole this election doesn't mean we don't have a chance in the 2022 primaries, or even a second Trump term in 2024!"
His follow-up videos were just a double-back, because for a moment his doomer mask fell, and he let us all know how he really is.
Something killed a member of my family last month. There is an illness out there that's infecting the respiratory tract. It's probably SARS-derived; SARS sprung up in China, after all, so it makes sense a mutated strain came from there, man-made (likely) or otherwise.
I do agree the globalist power structure is using what I consider to be a very soft (read: barely lethal) pandemic unworthy of the distinction to condition the global populace to be ever more compliant, and to kill local economies to hasten a consolidation of wealth and power never before seen.
I'll also say this: their plans won't survive itself, because a global scale restructuring with so many players is guaranteed to fail. You can't undo human nature, and human nature (greed, tribalism, violence) will always win out over some attempt to reprogram the masses.
It's just up to us whether we halt its ultimate formation, or it takes 100 years or so to fall apart on its own - and if so, what a horrific 100 years that would be.
Tom Morello especially is a sanctimonious lefty cunt. He wields his Harvard Social Studies degree like a shield, and tries to distance himself from his status as a rich, well connected rock star to project himself as some kind of radical.
A man of the machine, "fighting" against the machine.
I don't have kids or a family, unfortunately. Honestly, seeing how things have been progressing socially has killed a lot of my interest in even trying.
I got a job and bills, but that's to perpetuate an existence that feels increasingly hollow. Superfluous comforts of our modern age like television and video games no longer hold my attention; bread and circus lost its appeal before COVID even hit, and knowing that entertainment of that sort funds the Pinko elite makes my stomach turn -- not even mentioning how it's all propaganda-laden dreck these days. I'm too aware of how awful things are becoming, already are -- redpilled, as some would say -- to just ignore reality in favor of mindless distractions.
So, if dropping everything and giving them hell is the route we have to take, I'm in, 100%.
But you don't have to convince me. It's convincing people who still have something, anything to look forward to, to put themselves in a position of danger, of risk. And, more importantly, getting them organized, convincing them grouping together is worth being put on a list, being blacklisted from work, from travel, demonized by the media and alienated by their neighbors. We know it is, because we see the signs, and the alternative is a gradual unpersoning by the forces that want to enslave us, regardless, but make the average person recognize that.
At least half the American populace is akin to a caged lion presently -- savage in nature, but dulled from years of captivity. It's hard to make a lion like that hunt again, unless it's starving and has no other choice.
Another obstacle is how to learn to organize. You say we need to learn from the enemy, but the enemy was formed from a decades-long indoctrination campaign, draws bodies from institutions of "higher learning" and other Leftist-polluted enclaves, and receives both institutional support and protection, along with domestic and foreign funding and training.
They've got the clear advantage, and aping them wholesale ain't in the cards, because no institution is going to want to promote populism.
Maybe we should start a fight club and see where it goes.
I'm not arguing for Alphabet Agencies and LE. Military rank and file is largely conservative, although the gap has widened in recent years.
You're comparing apples and oranges, quite honestly. If you asked me if government agents and police were largely conservative, then I'd give a definite "No!". You're looking at 40% max in that case.
ANTIFA and BLM are the militant arms of an ongoing Color Revolution levied against the United States.
Their side consists of a group of bad actors with major internal and external financial and organizational support, who's only "job" is to sow discord and chaos, because only a bunch of losers have enough spare time to rage constantly.
Vs us: patriotic Americans who are working hard, running businesses, and raising families. We also have the entire system against us, with the media demonizing us at every turn, and law enforcement and government looking for even a slight slip up to justify ruining any one of our lives, while they give our ideological opponents a free pass.
I'm not saying we're not failing ourselves for not responding and organizing in kind, but the only way you're going to see a real response from most of the populist, conservative, general Right is if we feel as alienated as the Left currently does, if we feel that there truly is no future to the point where we're willing to throw everything away now, if we feel we have nothing and nothing to lose.
Unfortunately, a lot of us do have something to lose: our jobs, our families, our life; basically our "lives" in totality, if we drop everything and go Populist Lives Matter on their asses. And, yes, our lives as they currently exist are guaranteed forfeit if the Dems get their way, but a lot of people have a hard time thinking even just a decade ahead, especially in a place of relative comfort, such as is our day and age.
I've already been rambling too much, but there has to be a huge shift in the attitudes of the populist Right for a meaningful response to occur against the forces that are looking to enslave us.
That also means a few choice individuals are going to have to lead the charge, recognizing that if they fail to incite a movement, they'll lose everything.
The FBI is military?
Rank and file, absolutely. But, there's not a single major player in the Military Industrial Complex who doesn't rub shoulders with the swamp.
Only if you don't have connections.
Yeah, and the law enforcement collective is currently bleeding patriots and constitutionalists by the truck load with their policy changes and inaction at the insurrection currently infecting our nation.
So the departments replace them with individuals who have no scruples, who don't mind being told to oppress the citizenry, to protect subversives, and so on, and so on.
Remember, the ultimate goal isn't to defund the police, but rather replace the police with a more compliant force of jackbooted thugs, and it's been ongoing for years now.
They're also doing the same to the military, with all the diversity bull, Critical Race Theory indoctrination, and attacking of the Christian faith.
As history has shown, people are molded by their age - and I'm not talking biological age, I mean the era in which they live. And unfortunately we currently live in an era of comfort and lethargy.
Humans evolved into harshness and conflict; it's part of our blood, our history. This conflict gave us the strength to develop civilization.
But, as much as civilization is born of strength, it also promotes weakness by simplifying life. I mean, look at animals in captivity - they lose their natural instinct, their animalistic edge, and can only continue to live in captivity.
Unfortunately, it's the same with people.
I'm not sure if you're familiar with a catchphrase that is pretty well known:
'Hard Times Create Strong Men, Strong Men Create Good Times, Good Times Create Weak Men, Weak Men Create Hard Times'
And although there's always more nuance to the rise and fall of civilizations than can be contained in some pithy phrase, it seems pretty consistent:
A civilization is founded by rugged people. Those people give rise to an age of prosperity. That prosperity makes the people soft and their leaders greedy and corrupt. That greed and corruption, and the soft populace, gives way to ruin.
Anyway, my point is you're a product of your age, the same as all of us. And if... rather when... times get hard because of the corrupt and greedy, you'll either adapt, or die.
So, my suggestion is quit the booze, start working out, try to find a group of like-minded people to associate with, and prepare for the worst.
Chuck Palahniuk seems pretty based.
I don't really know his personal politics too well, but he's clearly free speech inclined, which is a major plus in my book.
