Is not so bad as it is now, but you need to lower your profile. Be aware and pay attention when you are out and about. Once you've lived here for a while, and you'll think US is the safest country in the world. One of the bigger pros for me once I came to Mexico was that internet is a lot cheaper. Heh.
Wouldn't a reform to 230 be better?
Platform, can't do anything unless the post in question is against the law in the Country. Publisher if they are applying notes, fact checks, adding or removing posts, etc. As a platform they can't get sued for what people post. As a publisher they can (because they are adding and in sometimes editing and fact checking what people post).
And then enforce that.
That would limit the power of social media companies, and keep those that desire to be platforms for our virtual town square.
