It was for remarks he made later and spitting on a guy.

I think they would have given him a worse sentence if he wasn't already considered a community hero.

Im sure the reeducation class will change his mind.

Is there a link that shows what is even taught in a de- radicalization camp?

This reminds me of my friend who was one of the very few white kids in his neighborhood when he was younger in the late 90s. He told me stories about how often he got beat up, bullied, and picked on. I met his mom and can tell she had mental issues enough where she couldn't figure out that she needed to move. It didn't help that he "acted white" and didn't try to sound and act more like he lived in that neighborhood.

Im trying to imagine my friend going to a reeducation class to change his mind on what he experienced for half his childhood. You might tell them what they want to hear to pass the class but you already know what you know.

My concern is we might get past the covid hoopla. But then we are going to revert back to being worried about the regular yearly flu. They already suggest too many people die per year from the regular flu so the MSM will just push the narrative that we should just wear masks forever.

If they push a safety first narrative, why should we ever stop wearing masks.

Usually "teen" or "teens" gives it away in most articles.

Im almost 40. This MSM lying thing in regards to race has been going on since at least the 90s. This isnt new.

I know many young people are just experiencing this but try to find some old VHS recorded youtube videos of old news stories from the 90s and earlier and you'll see things haven't changed.

What's funny is now she blames everyone else but I think if the company asked her to apologize to maintain her position in the company, she might do so. But becuase they let her go without giving her that option, she can just blame everyone else. She would be as faithful as her options but not stand by her true beliefs.

My mom worked in a similar diversity and inclusion position for half of her career at a big company. My mom also grew up in the projects so she believed she was oppressed and other minorities were completely oppressed when she started the position. By the time she retired she became very angry and felt like every other minority that came to see her about an internal racism problem was lying or exaggerating.

It was funny becuase I would hear about the positions she would have to take at the company vocally opposing racism seeming like she believed certain mainstream things but if the company knew how she truly felt, she would be fired.

I think my mom was much less "racist" before she started the job but became more "racist" by the time she retired.

So the argument is there should be 3 different levels:

  1. Rape while the person is awake and not drugged.
  2. Rape while the person is drugged out on their own.
  3. Rape while the person is drugged because the person who is doing the rape also drugged the person.

So the person got convicted for number 3 but the argument is he should be convicted for number 2 but number 2 doesn't exist as a law so they can only convict for number 1 if you can't convict for number 3. So, the feeling is that number 1 has too light of a sentence associated with it and number 3 is too harsh.

Am I understanding this right?

What if I just claim I'm black? Would they challenge me? Would I have to submit to a DNA test? Do I have to have a certain african percentage in my blood?

For most average people, the stock market is like a casino. They let some people win a little bit to feel good, but if you win too much they will kick you out. They dont care how fair you won it or how skilled you are. The casino doesn't lose.

I understand why this is news but this isnt new. This has been happening for a while. We all just accept it and will keep accepting it for a while.

Yea. Dont identify as Spanish. Spanish is the new white. There isn't as much sympathy for Spanish people than there is for darker people.

Im spanish. I know.

Why do people believe this?

If i was in his shoes, I would just go to training camp and "agree" with everything they say. Then I would make a public statement on how much I love gay people and hope I still get paid.

Thats why sometimes apologies dont work. Deep down inside most people "accept" the apology but know it doesn't mean anything. People wanting the apology just want to feel like they had power over you to make you apologies.

You should have messed with her and said you changed your mind and are now democrat.

2
Bidenisgreat 2 points ago +2 / -0

Its ok. Im sure the democrats will work with him after he rubbed elbows with Nancy. Im also sure most of the people who voted for trump will vote for him later after we laugh about this later in a couple years. Not that voting would mater. Do you think people were afraid to clap becuase of the new anti-trump cancel culture environment.

I hadnt watched normal tv in many months. Finally watched tv at my parents house on new years eve and it depressed me. All the purple masks, no crowds, constant reminders how horrible the year was, constant commercials talking about how great nurses are. Luckily we only watched 15mins of the new year show. Watching the 15 minutes by it self knocked the wind out of me and made me think i needed anti depressants.

This is one thing I can get BEHIND.

They usually show the white men as the people that rob your house in the commercials and show a black person as the one who protects your home in 99.99 percent of home security commercials.

How do we really know if what was said behind closed doors was real? The source is anonomous and could be made up.

Im confused. Are they suggesting that overturning the results will make leftys riot or accepting the case and not overturning the results will make the right riot?

This is true. It makes me think of how the whole george floyd thing happened. You had people who started mostly living their life online during quarentine and only seeing things through a narrow twitter/facebook lense. It made people hyper partisan and sensitive.

You couldnt pull this lockdown thing off if the internet the way it exists now didnt exist. To do school and work at home probably couldnt be pulled off 20 or 30 years ago.

If this lockdown happened 20 years ago you would be bored in your house much sooner if you didnt have all this technology. And more people would be fighting back against the government by by now.

Just my theory.
