Furthermore, you conclude with a personal attack by insinuating that CrossFitters have a low IQ and believe in conspiracy theory. Now both of those may be true, but then again like the rest of your assertion it may not be.
Confused, you may be. Let me speak truth to your opinion. I enjoy CrossFit, have for over 10 years. My major reasons are the heath benefit I have personally seen, camaraderie among fellow members, and with my busy schedule it is a work out that I don not have to plan and is over in 1 hour.
Now more truth, Like any activity in life, there is hazard. Manage those hazards yourself, don’t resort to the leftist personal attacks. CrossFit had a bad beginning with over working clients and bad coaching. Hence the Rabdo jokes. This actually rarely happens, probably more prevalent among endurance athletes like long distance running and biking, but in reality, I actually don’t have the statistics to back up that claim.
I have been to CrossFit boxes across the US and in several countries, and have made many friends through the personal engagement that is CrossFit. This is yet another reason I “bother” with CrossFit. Hate and disparage if that is your thing, but do it informed, please.
Lastly, the pull up thing is silly. There are three types of pull ups in CrossFit: 1. Strict, 2. Kipping, 3. Butterfly. They each have a benefit and are generally progressive skills. I would wager that every commenter on here that says kipping pull ups are not actual pull ups has never done them.
Thought this site may produce a few good CrossFit jokes, not an uniformed opinion and heath advice to see a practitioner with the least medical training (Chiropractor).
