I can attest. Only been confronted a handful of times. Most of them have been polite where I just say “no thank you” and they don’t push past that. I can respect that. Twice I had to leave and those places will never get my business ever again. Only one time I got a real nasty attitude from an employee but she never demanded I wear a mask. Just tried to shame me for not wearing one. Unfortunately there are too many transplants moving into TX from the northeast and California. They don’t move here for politics but for work and cheap real estate. Time will tell but the cities will keep growing and eventually out populate the rural areas. According to my math, if trends continue TX is blue in 2028. Then they’ll set their sites on the next most populous red state. Not that it matters because we don’t have elections anymore regardless

I went to a burger place last week that had a sign: “no service without mask”. Decided to walk in anyway expecting to be told to leave and the cook is not wearing a mask. It’s mostly a game to comply with govt orders. These signs at these businesses are govt mandates. They just put them up to satisfy the tyrants
Depends on the store. I had a soy boy ask me to put one on at Target once. I just looked at him on moved on. Same with Best Buy, asked if I needed a mask. “No thank you”. Never been threatened. If a mom and pop asks me to put on a mask I’ll leave because I’d rather not give communists money. That only happened once
