Don't forget to wear a mask!
I find I can't even recognize people who are masked in many cases, at least not quickly.
Yes, my kids don't seem into classics as much as I was as a kid. I've always been fascinated by learning about history and the past, and see past the signs of age, but my kids seem less interested. May be just personality though. I recently got them to watch memento which is a great movie, and they are into original ghost busters, which is probably banned now. I should probably spend more time trying to educate them properly.
Reading 1984 to them has been fruitful, although I have to skip the sex parts.
My problem is sometimes I might get a bit too truthy and my wife doesn't always appreciate that sadly. That is another complex issue.
Everyone I know in my parents generation is completely off their rocker about covid.
I guess I can see how it happens given they get their news from time magazine and the nyt, wapo and other sources of total bullshit.
Still disappointing though they can't see through it.

Yeah I think you are right, the joke is not accessible enough. But the situation is so comical there must be a joke in this.
That movie definitely could not be made today. Same goes for pretty much anything funny tbh. Maybe someday this will change.
Another aspect I find damaging is it furthers social isolation by making it impossible to communicate and connect with others nonverbally such as by smiling.
From a quick perusal of antifa stonetoss, they aren't even able to understand the comic much less satirize it.
What else would be useful is to apply some kind of consumer protection scheme that gives everyone the lowest price paid for a given treatment. No more paying more than the insurance company negotiated rate.
It's just their culture, we have to respect it. Says totally not racist white Marxist useful idiot
