I posted an explanation of the meme in a new comment. Take a look.
I left an explanation of the meme in a new comment.
That would have been the easiest time in American history to show the government that citizens cared about the ideal of America enough to stand up for it.
Good catch. I don't own a gun. That will likely lead to all sorts of questions why. It is by circumstance and choice. I am not a felon and the explanation is quite mundane.
I gave a history of the meme.
Interestingly, the down votes and up votes have been modified.
I gave a history of the meme in a new comment if you are interested.
Hello, all.
This is not how I would have chosen my 15 minutes of fame.
Let's remove some speculation, or perhaps in this (rightfully) paranoid group, introduce new avenues for speculation.
I am not a glowie or a militia commander. I am a pretty average American and a supporter of America First. I want America to be happy and prosperous, as that promotes my happiness and prosperity. While I ridiculed Trump as a con man and a publicity seeker in the beginning of his campaign, I found he communicated a clear plan that aligned with my desire for American success. I feel he worked as hard as possible against overwhelming opposition to bring that plan into reality. My experience in this is likely shared by many here.
I believe he was cheated out of reelection. The greatest indicator for this is the great effort taken to block any meaningful inspection of the election processes and results. Winners like to show proof they won and then rub it in the faces of the losers. Winners don't encourage doubt they won.
Apart from clever memes I have been forwarding friends since Antifa and BLM started burning cities, I have not called for violence. I don't remember everything I wrote in comments here but I don't think I called for violence. I likely called for large groups of armed Americans to be very clear they stand together against criminality and the secrecy that breeds it. I post in other places under different names so I don't remember exactly what concepts went where. I likely speculated about possible violence.
I believe violence is a poor option compared to the threat of violence. Everyone would rather home invaders get a job because they worry about getting shot than actually have to shoot one when they break into your home. The same goes here. Everyone would rather the capitol be surrounded until congress agrees to simply open the election for inspection than swarm in shooting and have to deal with whatever unpredictable mess emerges; which will likely be designed by even worse people.
This type of peaceful demonstration for the needs of Americans to be heard is an important part of American success. This highly contrasts to the Antifa/BLM model of random violence.
I just wanted to be clear on that.
In discussing the future with others, a topic of debate was how willing Americans were to get off the sofa, arm up, and make a show of force. Would Americans actually resort to violence if they felt they were being cheated?
In one camp, there was, "I got muh 400 million guns to protect muh liberty." A strong case could be made that a hundred years of gun collecting and talking big about "muh rights" and "stand up to tyranny" would see the armed masses descend on Washington DC to stop the exact situation the conspiracy theorists have been going on about for decades. They wouldn't be fighting to install Trump but simply to open the election to a trustworthy inspection.
In the other camp, there was, "Nothing will happen. Unlike Antifa and BLM rioters and terrorists out having fun with nothing to lose, the Americans who would fight for simple honesty and openness in government all have jobs and mortgages. They have families who need them. They have everything to lose. History shows this class of people sit by, make adjustments and small sacrifices to adapt, and hope things get better."
On one hand, there was true anger like never seen before. Perhaps people with lots to lose might realize lockdowns and economic destruction would make losing inevitable. On the other hand, apart from disorganized tough talk, there were no open undications of organization for armed intervention to demand honesty in government. In fact, there was mostly, "It's a trap. Don't take your guns to DC."
This could be overthought to a new level with the idea that it was clear many angry people were going to DC so the government was cleverly discouraging anyone from being a real threat that might derail the decided process.
Lots of thinking, overthinking, and over-overthinking is possible.
If you want to discuss these possibilities in an intelligent way and make an informed opinion, you need to understand what people think. How do you do that?
Poke in different ways and look at the responses.
And with this in mind, this Rorschach meme was created.
If you want violence, you can see a call for it. If you just want to surround the capitol until your demand are addressed, that is there too. If you don't want anyone doing anything, you can condemn the idea of showing up.
So the Rorschach meme was posted.
What happened? Pretty much nothing. There was a disappointing lack of interest. There were few upvotes or comments. Yet another dull rare Pepe gets more attention. The most enthusiastic responses were those condemning its perveived call for action.
This meme is not proof of organized violence but the response to this meme is a strong indication that there was no organized violence or even a desire for violence with the vast majority of people here.
In the end, what happened? Hooligans, thrill seekers, the curious, the emotional, a few instigators from all sides, and other random Americans followed the crowd and did pretty much nothing except put a few minutes of completely disorganized fear into the ruling class as they ignored calls to open the election for inspection. They were not fearful enough to pick up where they left off.
Four hundred million guns didn't show up to Washington DC. That is all anyone needs to know when determining if there was an organized insurrection.
I find myself shamed and embarrassed to be pulled into this by silly agenda-driven people who see what they want to see in the Rorschach meme instead of looking at reality.
Hopefully, that's the end of it all but who knows. In today's world of doxxing, canceling, and hunting down enemies of the narrative, maybe someone will come after me for pointless hassling. Hopefully not. Not really much they can hassle me about.
I hope you take my explanation at face value without wild speculation or excessive overthinking. It really is that simple.
Good luck to everyone in navigating the new world we live in.
It doesn't matter if there is an armed protest or a peaceful protest or if Trump supporters show up dressed in flowers and singing Kum by yah.
The Left is going to do what it is going to do.
All of the fraud, destroying evidence, ignoring crimes, media lies, and needless deplatforming should be a clue.
They are coming for your guns. Then they are coming for you.
It would be super cool for the Deep State with facial recognition software.
Americans need to show up, efficiently take care of business, and quietly go home when everything is stable.
Would better advice be "Don't get caught bringing weapons to Washington DC"?
What will a toothless protest do?
Make them laugh louder when they ignore witnesses, destroy evidence, manipulate the procedures, and install Biden as president?
They don't follow the laws. Should we follow laws they have quickly made to protect their lawbreaking?
Evil people are destroying America. Every plea for honesty, transparency, and decency has been ignored. The legal system has failed. A coup is underway.
What is your suggestion to solve this problem?
It is unclear how pointing out doing whatever is necessary to keep Trump as America's president is preferable to handing America over to communists and China-owned politicians makes me a communist or a Chinese shill.
My account is new and my message is pretty consistent.
I was a lurker, not a poster. Then I saw cute memes got thousands of upvotes and good ideas got tens of upvotes.
Some ideas need to be driven deep into the minds of everyone involved through repetition.
The reality is elected (selected?) officials have failed us. Investigative agencies have failed us. The courts have failed us. All haved done so intentionally and with open dishonesty and insultingly thin excuses.
There is nobody left to help Americans save America from the globalists, corporatiats, bought representatives, corrupted politicians, power hungry bureaucrats, and various enemies of America.
We must do that for ourselves and our only real chance is January 6, 2021. After that, the legal system will be used to insure that chance never comes again.
The Black Rifle is a symbol which represents an overwhelming show of force to insure transparency, justice, and our will to preserve America.
It does not represent violence or oppression. It represents to ability to respond to unjust force and resist the tyranny of the corrupted.
There are only two sides now. Those who leave DC with the issue resolved and those who do not.
I have a time machine.
Don't worry about the 6th. Fifty thousand patriots storm the capitol and hold everyone... uh... accountable.
Interestingly, despite all the frenzied activity, no damage was done to our beautiful capitol.
Sorry! I completely understand your idea.
I always feel the most power is in taking the words and ideas of the enemy and using their own tools against them.
They understand this phrase and its meaning. They use it as a weapon. It becomes hard for them to fight it without invalidating their own movement.
A great power of our community it to take the enemy's words and make them our weapons and shields
We are all Deplorables following our OrangeManBad! We have stolen the enemy's power from those words.
And we can steal the power from all their words.
We should not give anyone peace until justice is served.
Are the lefties going to whine around that suddenly this is an invalid concept? Are they going to cry we stole their phrase? Good luck with that.
They will never be able to use it again.
Kindly reconsider if this is a reasonable tactic.
No way.
The thief noticed the car was unoccupied, unlocked, running, and not under someone's watchful eye while driving by?
This looks like the owner and the thief might have worked something out.
카카오스토리 is Korean writing for the English words "Kakao Story" (ka ka oh sugh toe ree).
Kakaotalk is the most popular instant messenger in Korea, used by pretty much everyone. It is actually very good.
Sharing a video to Kakao Story is quite reasonable, though no idea why it would come up in American YouTube or be written in Hangul instead of English.
South Korea is generally very pro-American and pro-Trump.
As a bonus, Roof Koreans take no shìt from looters or other assorted thugs.
I am in agreement with your numbers but an argument may be more powerful if "official" numbers are used against those pushing them.
Either way, if 3% of 100 million or 3% of 74 million mobilize to take back America from its foreign and domestic enemies, it is still a larger army than all military and law enforcement combined.
Relax.
Americans taking government back from globalists and multinational corporatists will be the first step in secure borders.
American "breeding stock" will not be affected by millions of Americans occupying government offices and politician's driveways.
"Third Worlders" will have less ability to supplant and less desire to come once Americans are back in charge of America.
Nothing I have written is in any way pro-Chinese.
I very much hope President Trump has this in hand. He has had 4 years to prepare for it.
And he is acting like he has this in hand.
However, one man and a small team is facing strong opposition by an entrenched cabal filled with saboteurs.
Many things can go wrong for him which are not his fault and not within his power to control.
For this reason, Americans need to be ready to overwhelm the corrupt members and organizations of government in a peaceful manner.
But they need to be mentally and physically prepared for quick, decisive, and extreme targeted violence if they are resisted.
I am not calling anyone to arms. I am explaining that the internal and external forces aligned against America are very strong and Americans need to prepare themselves for every necessity.
Really, this is more of a prediction.
To clarify, there are a large number of young, fit patriotic Americans on the Armed Right who have no families, mortgages, or careers to lose in any attempted legal or violent response by corrupt government grasping at self preservation.
These heroes will lead armed but peaceful occupations from the front to protect the lives of Americans who have more to lose but whose presence is every bit as necessary.
Violence must be the last of the last resorts.
But the credible threat of righteous violence used only to restore honesty and transparency in American government must be so sincere to those who wish to destroy America they choose to slink away rather than have their lives destroyed.
Past executive orders and the Insurrection Act may be key parts of the process to restore the American system.
Or, like the election, it may be sabotaged by Obama-era generals, control-hungry politicians, and Administrative State princes.
In the end, the voice (and presence) of American citizens in overwhelming numbers may be the only thing that saves the Republic.
If they fully understand there is no peaceful option other than to give in to the righteous will of the productive class of American citizens, even the most crooked politicians will back down.
Nobody should want forever war.
Every option before violence should be exhausted.
But if all legal avenues to save America are sabotaged and violence is the last remaining option, the response should not be war.
It should be quick and violent action, well-planned and highly targeted at those most responsible for sabotaging the legitimate process.
And then things should immediately return to normal under a legitimate government without settling scores or extending violence.
Fortunately, the clear and vocal commitment to do this by a large segment of the American population should serve as a deterrent to insure no violence is necessary.
The saboteurs will back down if they realize their is no future for them or their plans.
If everybody shows up, occupies state capitols, and surrounds the houses of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats, there will be no need for actual violence.
Your presence will be appreciated and useful regardless of your speed.
I wrote a new comment with an explanation of the meme.
