NV is a non-starter as far as I’m concerned. They have a Dem state legislature that will more than likely invoke their Constitutional power to send Biden electors no matter what. AZ and WI have Republican legislatures that would, at the very least, not send electors. I’ve said it before, but our best bet is to invalidate enough states to send the election to the House.
Assuming the ballots are counted properly. Which clearly didn’t happen in Georgia during the “recount.”
The people counting the votes are clearly a bigger factor than the people casting them. That’s an untenable situation no matter what method is used.
When you’re done getting railed by Michael go ahead and check my post history, Barack. I’m definitely not a shill. But I worry we’re getting real invested in the statistics without anything else to back it up. The 96k illegally cast ballots have nothing to do with the statistics argument.
Now it makes sense why Kemp and co. agreed to the hand count. It’s the only way they could make the numbers look right.
It’s telling that, even with the chicanery, Trump gained thousands of votes that were “missed” during the initial machine count. They tried to make up the difference with the 10k error in Biden’s favor but someone caught it.
Bring back mechanical voting machines. The lack of paper trail doesn’t even matter at this point if they’re just going to purposefully miscount the paper ballots.
Nah, she was running in a heavily Democratic district that would elect a turnip before it would elect a Republican. It wouldn’t surprise me if they padded the numbers (to demoralize the Republicans and make them not even run a candidate in 2022), but I highly doubt she could win even in a fair fight.
That’s my worry with all of this. Statistically improbable does not mean impossible. No judge is going to void an election without clear-cut proof, no matter the precedents she cites at the beginning
I didn’t yet. I was just commenting generally on the efficacy of statistics being used in court.
The difference is Tucker makes $6 million a year just from Fox, plus whatever he makes from the Daily Caller and anything else he does. Which means he should be financially secure at this point. Or at least secure enough to say his peace and deal with the consequences.
Look at Chris Matthews. He's a liberal hack but he said his peace then walked off his show 10 minutes in with no notice after the cancel mob came for him. I'm sure he made a lot more than Tucker, but he also had the fortitude to tell his bosses where they could shove it. It's probably the only thing I respect about him.
I don’t think the courts are going to give as much credence to statistics as we are hoping. No matter how statistically improbable something is, there’s still a chance of it happening.
The simple counter-argument is that, however unlikely the result was (like 99% of independent mail ins going to Sundown Joe, for example), it happened.
Now add some additional information to the statistics, like ballots returned before they were officially mailed and observers being arbitrarily kicked out of counting locations, and maybe you hit that 51% preponderance of evidence for a civil case. But the statistics alone mean nothing, at least in court.
Not stupidity per se. They bought the bogus polls that said all of their candidates were ahead. Once actual results were coming in, they realized their error. But it was too late to push all of their people across the line, so they focused on Biden. Best bang for their buck.
For some reason they expected Trump to behave like every other Republican they ever fucked over. Now we are on the precipice of seeing all of their fraud exposed
Back then, yes. Now, not a chance.
Don’t forget, there was a time when the black community hated the crime and gang violence in their neighborhoods. They begged politicians to do more, and shamed those that didn’t. Then the crime rate dropped and people were able to escape those neighborhoods. But the ones who were left were the criminals and the ones who didn’t try to improve their lives. A scapegoat had to be found, because personal responsibility is a white man’s game. So they blamed the cops.
I’m absolutely fine with not having enough electors seated for either to reach 270. He hold 26 states in the House, and even the RINOs aren’t going to cut their own throats to install Joe Biden.
That must be the fact check from last year. This year she is legit married to the white guy and launders campaign money through his “consulting” firm.
I’d say he’s doing a little more than living with him.
If he only makes $6 million he’s an idiot. The late night hosts make much more than that for less of an audience. They probably beat him in the demo but the numbers he was bringing in should have netted him O’Reilly money
It’s better than letting the Dems outright steal it. And even the RINOs like being in Congress. Backstabbing Trump would be a one-way ticket to losing your seat
Nah, the people who will go down will be the lower level true believers that will be happy to go to prison for trying to stop Orange Man Bad.
Whether it’s aliens, or inter dimensional beings, or something else altogether, they’re definitely out there. I’ve said it before, but if the steal works, I’d love to see GEOTUS declass that stuff along with all the Russia bullshit. If it’s something they even fill the President in on versus keeping it within the Deep State.
You have to let certain people save face. It’s like letting the Emperor stay on in post-WWII Japan. You just relegate them to the sidelines while letting them pretend to still be important.
Nah, they’re just true believers. Orange Man Bad and all that. They’ll gladly be the fall guys if things go sideways. For the greater good, of course.
Same thing happened at my kids pre-school. I reached out to the director as soon as it happened and explained she should be sending to everyone as a BCC and she’s done it every time since. Doesn’t fix the first mistake but helps it from happening again
Doesn’t NV have a Dem state legislature? They’ll just vote to have Dem electors
They’re pissed because of support of Operation Underground Railroad. Which is a former federal agent who flies around the world and rescue child sex trafficking victims. Imagine being mad that there’s a guy that gave up a cushy federal job to travel to shithole countries to stop kids from being raped
Never. Fraud always happened. It’s easier now because everything is internet connected, but things like ballot stuffing and vote buying always happened. The difference was that you never heard about it until places like this existed on the internet.
Ask yourself: does it make sense to you that Reagan and Nixon both won 49 states (1984 and 1972, respectively) and were never able to flip the House? I understand gerrymandering was probably worse back then, but it still makes no sense.
The physical impossibility part is the winning argument. I’m really curious to see what BS excuse they come up with the try to explain it.
