More like Teddy. He did a lot of what Trump did (Fighting the large companies, mega-billionaires rich enough to purchase the entire U.S. at one time) and was praised for what much of what Trump is praised for now, even with some similarities on what they're appreciated and criticized for, but he was arguably more successful in the fight. He got more votes in the Bull Moose party (a familiar precedent for what today's Patriot Party would be) 27% to Taft's 23%, but still split the ticket.
