They're very libertarian.

The idea was to provide an exemption for light moderation so the sites could remove spam, gore, and the like. However, tech companies now claim that reasonable opinions fall in the same category.

It was easy to see if you knew who his pastor was.

It does need chain of custody for the evidence to prove it's legitimate.

Unless it's already done and there's nothing that could change it.

No, it needs to be modified by Congress. Follow the process of making law, otherwise some future president could just change things again.

They don't seem to get that if the jury box fails, that leaves only one choice.

I think they know and they're going ahead anyway.

What do you drink when you've had to much coffee but you still want more coffee?

The Electoral College meets in the separate state capitals for this reason. No elector could know how electors in other states voted before reporting their votes. Same thing should happen in state-wide elections. All precincts should finish counting, then report results.

Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro, and in the midst of his story one of my friends turned to the other and said, "We don't know how lucky we are." And the Cuban stopped and said, "How lucky you are? I had someplace to escape to." And in that sentence he told us the entire story. If we lose freedom here, there's no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.

The two party system is an artifact of first-past-the-post elections. The parties are coalitions of factions. Look how Trump has brought the protectionist pro-labor constituency into the Republican coalition and pushed out hawkish neocons. The parties are always looking to pick off factions as the major issues change in order to gain the majority.

You're right about party parrots though. I think representatives will be more responsive to their constituencies if they're smaller. Party parrots exist because you need money and party support to win elections. The bigger the district, the more money you need.

Take a look at Federalist 10 and the role of factions. Madison argues for a large republic so that every faction is small relative to the whole, and thus less influential.

I'd love to see it go back. Make each individual House member less important, and therefore harder to buy off a majority.

I always took his "left of Bernie" comment to be rhetoric. I too would enjoy a world where everyone is rich and has every need met, but I know that's not possible.

That's very far from the rally and not the best neighborhood. Probably regular activity for the area.
