There's no other way to view the events that unfolded this week as anything less than a complete and total victory for Trump. The left's victory that they're claiming now is nothing but Pyhrric. They might have won a battle but we won a war. Why?

Conservatives were finally censored by big tech, removing their masks and opening the eyes of many people that they are some of the most nefarious actors in the USA.
-
Forcing conservatives to come to the realization that they need to build their own infrastructure. Sure, big tech has a significant advantage now but look at North Korea after the Korean war, they were miles ahead of the South but look at them now. It's more heartbreaking than anything to view the cruelty DPRK citizens live under. Conservatives not only need their own platforms but they also need their own infrastructure (data centers, etc) that emphasize free speech (for all)
-
By removing conservatives from their platforms, big tech tech has lost their control on us. They can't suppress our speech through shadow-banning or account "time-outs". They no longer have the power of arbitration that they wielded so mightily for the past 4 years. When conservatives build out their own infrastructure, they are only beholden to the laws of the country and will be protected by the first amendment. No more of this "Twitter is a private company and can do what they want with their platform"

Regardless of the fear many of us are facing, there's really not a whole lot they can do in two years to undo the work of the founding fathers. Going forward, our goals should not concern ourselves with seizing power but rather sowing disruption. Work to ensure that no one's agenda can move forward in the federal government and focus on bringing the change we want to see in our communities, cities, and states. Let the elites destroy themselves with their infighting and conflict on who sits in the Oval office. So long as we can sow the seeds of chaos at the Federal level, we can create real change at the local level and slowly undermine and delegitimize the authority of the federal government.

Now that the Capitol was stormed, the establishment will begin building fences around themselves (literally, not figuratively). Rather than fighting to tear them down, we should actively build them up. They build their own prisons at their peril.
Progress that should have taken years, if not decades to achieve was done in less than a week. We will not go quietly into the night. We were just expelled from their world and now we get to create our own.
So thank you Facebook and Twitter, you did more for the Trump movement than The Donald ever could.
