This morning I accidentally backed over my neighbors cat. It was a kitten, actually. The mother had just had a litter and they were barely old enough to walk. One of them wandered into my driveway as I was backing up and I didn't see it. All of the modern tech in my car didn't help the poor little fella. I felt a bump and panicked and pulled forward. When I went around the back I saw him lying there, wriggling around and clawing at the sky with his last few moments of his incredibly short life. I know it was an accident, but I felt like a monster. I told the neighbor about it and we burred him in his back yard while the rain poured from the sky and from our eyes. Rest in peace, little kitty. Anyway, accurate thread title.

Ah yes, King Cobra pairs well with a side of Black & Mild's and a perp cannon in 9mm. For a .25 cal I would go with a few Newport's and perhaps a bottle of Thunderbird wine or a tall can of Night Train.

Stay classy, pede!

It really irks me that in Oregon the GOP was 29 SECONDS late in submitting their statement for the voter pamphlets so it was rejected, yet we're going to brush deadlines aside when it comes to actual votes. By the same standard, votes not counted by midnight, especially those that are all for the dem candidate and magically got 'discovered' two weeks later in a random location should also be rejected.

I didn't read the story but it would really suck for him if he just sold his house and was using the money to move from Commifornia, and now he'll be stuck there with degenerate neighbors dindu'ing nuffin' to him for the rest of his miserable life.

LOL @ calling them "protesters". If you want to see protesters, go to Planned Parenthood and check out the people outside holding signs. These are organized criminals, AKA a gang.

I sent all of mine to that racist Trump. He probably collects them.

In her defense: My old church had steps like this and kids would launch bikes down them all the time. Eventually a kid broke some bones and his parents sued the church over it. The parents attorney argued that the stairs were an "attractive nuisance" that drew lured young cycling and skateboarding daredevils in. The courts found for the kids parents and the church ended up having to pay a huge settlement and then reconstruct the stairs to a flatter angle.

If people weren't allowed to sue over this kind of thing, I don't think they'd waste money on a security guard to watch over them.

Not positive, but my wife's co-worker possibly got it (visited family who tested + afterward in WA state) with minor symptoms and possibly passed it to her kid, who developed more severe symptoms (cough, aches, 100 degree fever for a week). When they took the child to the ER they were told that they weren't testing because they didn't have enough tests and told them to go home and call if it gets worse. That was a week ago and it's gone in the mom and clearing up in the child now so possibly +2 unreported cases with a positive outcomes.

Interesting that the US stockpiled 100M. Facebook apparently had 720K on hand. Facebook had 2/3 as many masks as the entire US stockpile. Seems like a lot of masks for a company that isn't manufacturing anything or a pharmaceutical company. I'm not trying to stir any pots, I just think that's a crazy amount of masks for one company to stockpile.

This is interesting. Reddit is popular, IMO, because you can find a sub forum for literally anything, and if you can't, you can just make one. It is an easy way for like-minded people to get together. However, now it seems that "like-minded' means that you must hate the president and believe anything you hear on CNN or risk being ousted and banned, and that has tarnished most subs. It would be interesting to see sub forums here (girls, guns, cars, ice cold beer, etc.). Otherwise I think you will just have people coming here for political news and still patronizing Reddit for the other content. I don't think it's hurting them much.
