A while back I saw some video clip from the HK protests, I’ll have to search for it... a white chick/American/Lonely Planet backpacker type was berating some of the HK protesters - “why are you doing this? You have to stop! Your safety is more important than freedom” ... the protesters were baffled but kept trying to reason with her - “no, freedom is most important” this went on for several minutes ... surreal, and one of the most depressing things I’ve seen.

The stress! It's been unusually busy/chaotic with my work – and being preoccupied with the election doesn't exactly help my productivity.
