I just called a small restaurant/casino to ask about their mask exemption policy. I called because I'm visiting my dad in Reno, and he always goes to that restaurant every weekend for breakfast with his uncle. At first, one of the workers said that I needed to provide a card or proof of my medical exemption. I explained that that doesn't seem right because people don't need to say why they are exempt. She transferred me to the manager who instantly told me that no one eats there without a mask. I told him that there were bylaws in Nevada for young children and medical exemptions. I asked if he knew the law, and he said that he didn't know, yet he enforces the first part of it. He said it wouldn't be "fair" to others if I was the only one not wearing a mask. He was very rude to me and told me I could go eat at another restaurant. I called him a communist and hung up.
Anyone have any advice on the "laws" or whatever these mandates are?
