What fascinates me the most is how these two could lie so boldly and then just not even address how the opposite of everything they said has happened. Any protest is bound to be infiltrated by cops/glowies - that is inevitable - but does it mean the entire thing is illegitimate or doomed to failure? Do you think those antifa/anarchist groups don't get infiltrated too? I'm skeptical too but also cautiously optimistic because at this point, what other options are there?

But that statement is based on the predicate that there was ever such a thing as democracy in the first place. That's your great awakening, I suppose. Not a populist revolution, not any kind of renaissance of liberty. The great awakening, if there ever was one, is the simple fact: we live in a fabricated soft totalitarian society. There is no liberty, and maybe there never was. Now the American people can join the rest us people on God's green Earth in accepting the fact that they are not exceptional. Their constitution, like those of Russia, of China, and other countries, is nothing but a rag. Their government a mere formality, a rubber stamp for the decisions that have already been made behind closed doors by their betters.

I see many posts here that say the storming of the Capitol was a false flag by antifa or the feds, or antifa paid by the feds... I myself do not subscribe to that theory. I genuinely believe with all my heart that it was caused by patriots who have had enough. I also believe that whether it happened or not, the outcome would remain the same. Furthermore, I also believe Trump himself is probably genuine. But I also believe he is not a strong or courageous leader or tactician. He was merely an outsider that managed, by fluke, to ascend to the presidency where he was completely stonewalled from enacting any of his policies. As for those that stormed the Capitol today, let me tell you that I believe what they did was courageous and heroic, even though it was futile in the end.

That great awakening, to which I had referred previously, was the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. So what does the future hold? Ejection from the garden of Eden - that is, ejection from the state of blissful ignorance that kept us complacent. I do not thing people in the West have the courage to fight on. I think things will return to "normal" when Joe Biden is confirmed, as he is presently in the process of being. The great reset will proceed and we will eat those bugs, we will consume that porn, we will own nothing and rent everything... we will simply not be happy.

Okay I know I'm reaching but if the senate is tied now then maybe GOP has an incentive to support Trump because the VP is going to be the tie breaker. If they don't fight for his second term they're handing over the senate to the dems. Are they so desperate to get rid of him that they're going to shoot themselves in the foot? In order to remain optimistic, I'm going to believe that no.

Well we all know how Ossoff and Warnock "won" but come on, this isn't even remotely believable that the candidates the dems fielded would have a chance in a deep red state.

So I took a course in differential equations after taking a year off from university to work. I got pretty good grades in calculus 1, 2, and 3, but I have not practiced math at all for exactly one year. I feel like I'm fucked and I don't know if I can succeed in the course. This was literally the first place I thought to ask for guidance because I'm retarded.

My suggestions are the following: in 2014 during Hong Kong protests, mobile services were shut down to prevent protesters from communicating. They bypassed this restriction by using the mesh network based communication app FireChat (now defunct). My suggestion is to find and use a similar app to communicate without depending on mobile networks. Someone in another thread had suggested to use Air Chat but I cannot attest to how good the app is. I think the topic of communication during the protest is worth researching more in depth. The downside to these apps, however, is security. There is potential for the communications to be intercepted, just as with mobile networks.

Secondly, if you are former police or know anyone who is, now is the time to explain in detail the tactics used by riot police in breaking up and neutralizing crowds. During the 2010 G8 protest in Toronto, for example, riot police used a tactic called "kettling" to contain and arrest protesters. There needs to be a plan of action to counter these tactics and stop them from breaking up the protest. Furthermore, be cautious of agent provocateurs. Like I said, I lived in Toronto myself and I remember the 2010 protests well. Agent provocateurs posing as "black bloc" anarchists started burning cop cars and smashing store windows. You need to be prepared for potential violence but if you see someone aimlessly smashing up businesses and causing indiscriminate chaos, they are likely to be provocateurs. If you're coming armed, don't brandish your weapons, don't talk about it to strangers. I liked what someone else posted a few days ago: if someone asks you to go up to your hotel room and see your guns, even if it is a perfect female cutie, think with the big head and not the little head and just say no. If a stranger starts prying you for information be very cautious. I'm not saying to be paranoid and assume everyone is a shill, but you also need to use your better judgment and be aware that there is a possibility that there might be undercovers. Trust but verify, basically.

Symbolic goals (like occupying national monuments) are just a red herring. Don't try to take monuments, that is useless. The goal should be either to besiege or storm (or both) Congress, and to block the roads to block anyone from coming in or out of the city.

Finally, you have to understand what you're getting into. A nice little protest when everyone goes to the city and then leaves the next day isn't going to cut it. You need to come prepared to stay there for days or weeks. Again, if you're coming armed, don't spend all your money on ammo and guns. This isn't a video game, you're not going to walk around with 20 guns in your backpack. Spend some money on personal protection gear. Get some kevlar or anti-stab vests at least. Get a respirator in case of tear gas, or some substance to counter the effects. And don't get drunk or stoned, this isn't a party.

Those are my two cents.

Do not spend the $600 or alternatively, do not shop at big box stores. Especially do not order anything from Amazon. Only buy from small businesses. As pitiful as the (((stimulus))) cheque is, its purpose is not to help you buy bread, its is intended to prop up big corporations that want to keep the lockdowns going to suffocate their competitors. Don't give them the $600. In fact, don't give them anything else. Stop buying from them.

This fat lady freaked out at me because I went in the elevator with her. She said "there should be two people in the elevator" and it was me, her, and another person, which was false to begin with as the building put up notes that said up to three people. I just told her I'm not at risk and if she doesn't like it she can get out. This set her off and she just kept yelling at me and threatened to tell the building manager on me (who cares, he won't do anything). Feel pretty rattled.
