It was only a matter of time for them to kick her out. The negotiations might have started a while ago. Plus negotiations tend to take a lot of time to avoid conflicts. Her schedule is probably not that busy now.

I do not for a second believe that there is nothing that can be done to prevent this from ever happening again.
You might have to actually do that with future elections if you want to have a shot at it being fair.

That is not going to be enough. We need to do everything we can to eliminate ways of cheating. Mail and call campaigns, in person protests, pressuring the GOP, lawsuits, everything.
