You're looking for a checklist. PREPARING isn't that simple.
Its being cognizant of your area and it's potential hazards and figuring out how to deal with them for you and those you care for.
It's a mindset and life skill that has to develop over time to be effective when things get stupid. For those figuring it out 'on the fly'.. that learning curve can be Darwinian depending where you find yourself.
