I particularly like them in my 7 bean salad recipe (great for BBQs):
- 2/3C apple cider vinegar
- 1/3C honey
- 1/4C olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped green pepper
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 can dark red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can wax beans, drained
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can butter beans, drained
- 1 can navy beans, drained.
Mix all that shit together in a big bowl (start with the "dressing" then add beans and toss them gently in it).
Better if you make it the day before and let it mingle in the fridge overnight.

I have a co-worker who lives in a remote part of a remote state.
His county of 160k has had a total of 100 cases.
He and his wife are still doing shit like disinfecting their packages and groceries, and are wary of going out.
This shit is at odds with reality. I like in a county with 6k cases out of 650k people (order of magnitude higher than him). Never disinfected shit, went out of my way washing my hands at first diligently when I got home or sanitizing as I got in the car, but haven't given a fuck in like 2 months. Haven't gotten it (had the antibody test).
Turns out my mom had it early on (before testing, recently confirmed by antibody test), and I was in her presence briefly when she was symptomatic. She's healthy, in her 60s and fine. My dad never got it despite sharing a house with her the whole time.
People need to stop freaking out. It just isn't that bad, and in the end it's going to be a fatality rate of a bad flu season. I guarantee it

Widely panned because it's 3 hours long, it's also a gloriously patriotic post apocalyptic epic film, and shows the power of voluntarism in the face of chaos and danger.
It's one of my favorite movies and based off the David Brin book of the same name.
