Yes but I did it anyway (o )(o )! Seriously, you could go fishing in a canoe or kayak but not a boat with an outboard motor. You could order seeds online but they were roped off as non-essential in local Walmart and Home Depot. You could mow your own lawn but you could not pay a lawn service to mow your lawn. If you have a second home you were not allowed to travel to your own private property. Just a sample of the lunacy here this spring. By comparison now all she is doing is try to crush the restaurants and most local MI small biz, that's a reprieve from her stupidity back when this all started.
I never new about Michigan's Citizen Legislature before this petition. Hopefully we will use it more often. If the state Congress votes to approve the petition it becomes law. The Governor is not required to sign and cannot veto it. If the Congress does not vote by some deadline than the petition makes it on the ballot for voter approval.
