I knew piano teachers in LA that would charge $50+ per lesson, I don't see why you couldn't charge at least $20 per hour even in bumfuck nowhere. Musicians have to hustle but there are plenty of opportunities if you look.
I live in a third world country and have piano teachers working for me that can easily make $20‐$35 per hour for teaching group classes of 2-4 kids. Private classes make them $10 an hour. If they worked for themselves and charged our rates they could easily be making $50‐60 per hour for groups and $20 for private.
