While I prefer the scorched-earth, railroad everything in site version of trump like the first debate, I know I’m in the minority. Normies have been taught that “muh decorum” is good so the more measured approach will help soothe a lot of people as you said. (even though that’s what politicians have been doing for years- talking smooth while sneakily fucking us)
I know. I think Trump tends to just keep moving forward during conversation rather than go back to relitigate his previous remarks. Whatever he says, they’ll say it’s a lie anyways and for him to go back to it and say “wait, that’s not true” probably would just look weak because it places the conversation on their turf. Instead he just bulldozes over to what he wants to talk about. Like when he flipped from Beau to Hunter.

Been thinking about MAGAA for a while and it always reminds me of the final line in the scorcher 6 trailer from tropic thunder. Somebody really needs to redo that entire trailer with Trump in it especially with the new SCOTUS puck coming up. I can dream it, but don’t have the talent to meme it.
