You know, it’s funny: comedian Louis C.K. covered this very topic in one of his standup specials and it was absolutely hilarious.
He went on to talk about how he and his friends used to use the word when they were little and there was no sexual connotation within their usage in context; they called each other faggots when they were being faggots. It was as simple as that. Very funny standup.
He also went on to talk about how a barista made him an excellent coffee one day, and it was a white dude who made it, but when he took his first sip he thought to himself, “that ni**er made the SHIT out of my coffee!” And there were no racial undertones in context there either, and, once again, an absolutely hilarious bit within his standup.
I hate the fact that we’ve become so fucking soft as a nation with this millennial generation: feelings this and racist that. It’s become unbearable. The only good thing that is getting any attention as of late, in my opinion, is the increased focus on mental health and mental health awareness.
