It will make censorship work, but it will also make the platforms nonviable, will it not? How could a social media company possibly monitor and review all of the content posted by its users and still maintain a worthwhile platform that people want to use?

This has to have some sort of psychological effect during the election, right? How can anyone in the middle not feel more positivity towards Trump after being given $1200 with his name on it?
