It is the DC run off. They poured into Northern Virginia beginning in the late 80s/early 90s. Look at the electoral map of Virginia and you will see it is just a handful of counties in Northern Virginia that flip the state, the rest of the state is blood red like 90% of states are.
It was 76% not 74% but yeah still bullshit. Biden supposedly gets 81% among Democrats. Then the Independent gap which was within 1 or 2 points last week is now at +18 for Biden. There is no way in hell that sampling is legit, it is lopsided and has to come from somewhere IE an oversample of college kids in a city somewhere to get that kind of sampling. It goes against basic common sense. Also odd is when the polling was done, they sampled people on Sept 30/October 1st and then waited 3 days and sampled more on Oct 4-6, which is quite unusual.
None of this polling makes any sense and Rasmussen is one of the very few polls I put any stock in. He goes from 50%+ for 10 days, drops to 46% from 52% and now back to 49% all the while going from +1 over Biden in the head to head to -8. None of this is anyway logical. You're telling me President Obama who had record breaking support in the black vote and had a unified party, could only manage to beat McCain by a little over 7 points but Joe Biden with a divided party, lackluster hispanic and black vote, and an enthusiasm gap 6-9 points lower than Hillary is going to win by 8?
From everything I have read, Trump's internal polling was spot on in 2016. To me trying to make heads or tails of these polls is pointless, one week Trump will be up 10% among independents and then a week later the same poll will have him down 15% among independents. So many D+10, D+12 polls is insane. If Biden and the Democrats actually believed the media's polls, they would not be acting like they are. They would not do a complete 180 on their campaign and completely change their messaging. They wouldn't cancel trips to Kenosha just to take the trip the next day, they wouldn't be campaigning and spending money in Minnesota.
They even tried walking it back a bit by saying "Trump said WW1 was a pointless war and those that died were suckers." Originally Trump just thought all our dead soldiers were suckers and losers. To actually believe this is not only insulting, but it insults all the good the president has done for our vets and our vets aren't stupid, they know this is bullshit. They had to release this much earlier than they wanted to.
You nailed it. The riots were a ticking time bomb waiting to happen and now that it has, the Democrats and Biden have no real place to go. Either he denounces ANTIFA and alienate the radical/progressive part of the party that he needs and potentially black voters, or he keeps his head in the sand and loses the moderate vote to Trump. I think the ship has sailed either way, moderates after Kenosha woke up to the fact these people are insane and violent, it also solidifies the fact Biden is going more radical by allowing it to happen for 3 months. Coming out now and trying to spin it as Trump causing the violence and he is law and order is going to make anyone with a brain cell laugh.
