I hear ya. A lot of people love the other shows. To me they just don't have the same character depth.

What about UFO? Space 1999 sets and props were what the second season of UFO was supposed to be. Too bad it didn't happen because UFO was fantastic and should have never been cancelled.

First few episodes were great. Then it became ridiculous. Cool opening themes though.

Also, 12 O'Clock High is very good. Soundtrack predates but sounds a lot like Star Trek TOS.

Yes, sorry. That's the link Seawolf posted. So many great episodes in TOS. TOS should be referred to as The Only Series. Everything after it has paled in comparison.

It always struck me how well Kirk's closing line in that episode highlights his emotional trauma from that experience. "Let's get out of here". Shatner was absolutely great in that show.
