I always thought that "Who am I? Why am I here?" moment from Stockdale was very mischaracterized and taken out of context. If you don't listen to just the soundbite, but he entire introduction he goes to explain that he wasn't a politician and why he was up there on stage.
The numbers seem to be all over the place for me. Obviously ignoring China's numbers.
Italy has had over 110k cases and 13k deaths (11%)
Spain has had 102k cases and 9k deaths (9%)
Germany has had 76k cases and only 858 deaths (1%)
US 200k cases and 5k deaths (2.5%)
There's no consistency at all on that ratio. I know there's a bunch of other factors that play into the numbers, but these are huge discrepancies.
