Severely underrated comment.

The only flaw is, people need to be reading actual content, and not "Natural Karen Goddess' Holistic Homeopathic War on Vaccines" on Facebook.

They had to de-sticky a decent post because of that crap. The OP was good. The comments were a bunch of David Duke wannabes

I can't believe you're getting downvoted by smoothbrains who don't get the refrence.

This. Also, technically speaking, the land that was ceded for DC belongs to Maryland.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to hit a moving target with conventional arms at a reasonable distance? Sniping is not "point and shoot" like on a video game; it's a skill that takes YEARS to develop in any semblance of competency.

So no, "snipers on the roof tops" is not a reasonable solution to dissuading rioters. What we really need is non-lethal deterrence. Things like audio frequencies that cause disorientation; flash bangs;

stuff like https://www.businessinsider.com/the-8-most-painful-non-lethal-weapons-2015-10

That, and the antivaxxxer propaganda.

I understand there's personal freedom issues at stake and that liberty and freedom are at stake, but the crackpots are starting to make the rest of us look bad.

Not only do they think we're stupid, they have this ridiculous phobia of embracing technology. Democrats wield tech like a cudgel, and republicans would have us all reading by newspapers by candlelight through bifocals if they had their druthers.

Died of what, exactly?

Screen cap of an "article", without the link, or additional info?

That's some psyop glowie shit, right there. I'm starting to think that all the antivaxxe Karen level hysteria is controlled opposition here to undermine our unshakable faith in the GEOTUS, who made the vaccine possible.

Counterpoint:. I got the 2nd dose, went to a baseball game, had 10 beers, and was hungover the next day, but no other symptoms.

Sounds like your coworker was weak.

1
BropolloCreed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Reasonable.

I got it because I have never had an issue with vaccines previously. Got #2 last Friday, went to a ballgame, knocked out 10 or so beers, and called it a night.

The hangover was worse than any lingering side effects.

But if people don't want it, that's their business. I look at vaccines like tattoos: everyone should be free to decide what they want to do to their own body. Fuck these assholes dreaming up vaccine passports, mandatory compliance, or worse. That bullshit is ridiculous.

100% agree. The amount of Antivaxx propaganda here makes us look like a bunch of cucks.

I fully oppose any mandate for this, but outright lies, misrepresentation, and misinformation about the vaccine is Leftist level bullshit.

You can't scream about "99+% survival rate" for Covid, while saying, "the vaccine is killing people" out the other side of your mouth.

.0018% of people who have had the shot have died afterwards (as of March 25th). The vaccine is far less dangerous than the infection.

BropolloCreed -1 points ago +1 / -2

This is some Leftist-level fear mongering garbage for medicated, unwashed masses.

A standard pear contains 50 times the amount of formaldehyde found in a vaccine.

There's no aborted fetal tissue in the actual vaccine. The vaccine is tested on fetal tissue to confirm it works.

This cartoon is as inaccurate as socialist propaganda. We're better than that.

I could even see making the initial mistake when she drew the gun accidentally. Her adrenaline is pumping, she's all emotional, whatever....

But even handling the firearm, she violated every single principle that underpins firearm safety, regardless of mistaking it for a taser or not.

Can we swap her trial for Derek Chauvin's?

2
BropolloCreed 2 points ago +2 / -0

Disagree. When the prosecution brings in the so-called, "spark of life" witnesses, the Defense is going to give the jury both proverbial barrels with Floyd's arrest for being a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach.

Who makes up an overwhelming majority of the jury? Women.

That article is trash. Its all speculative, with no source apart from a "family member," who can't even verify the I formation other than their "feelings".

This is an AOC, "feelings are more important than facts" post being used to drive Antivaxx sentiment. I'm all for freedom of medical choice, and advocate people have the right to determine what they put in their body, but this shit is not helpful.

-4
BropolloCreed -4 points ago +1 / -5

Disagree. Laying out a plan allows the Left to have it's allies in the media prepare a defense. It happened during the election, it happened with Hoaxvid-19, and it will happen again.

There's a long game being played here.

Be won't run.

He'll be pushing 77-78 at that point. But he WILL be the "kingmaker" of the Republican party made over in his image.

You're going to see Ron DeSantis' stock continue to rise, to the point that, barring a lack of endorsement from Trump, will be the presumptive nominee, with everyone else jockeying for a VP spot on the ticket.

And if it ends up being DeSantis, they'll look to tap someone north of the Mason-Dixon lime and west of the Mississippi. Depending on how South Dakota comes out of Covid-19, Kristi Norm may be the VP pick. Yes, I realize I'm talking about two governors, bit given the feckless leadership or viable options in the Senate, and the lack of viable candidates with moderate inclinations in the House (though that may change in the midterms), my money is definitely on DeSantis and someone both North and West as the VP pick.

The funny part about this is was answering a question about his Infrastructure bill.

Literally cutting off one's own nose to spite their face.

On par with AOC leading the charge to keep Amazon from putting people to work in NY.

Jesus, this is goddamn "Karen from the Antivaxx Moms FB Group" level cringe.

I gotta call bullshit on this alarmist "science".

I'm the 70's it was "Acid Rain will kill us all"!

In the 80's & 90s it was, "The Ozone Layer is disintegrating and we're all gonna die!"

Then we had Al "I'm Not A Climatologist, But I Did Stay At A Holiday Inn Express" Gore sounding the alarm on "muh Global Warming and dur Ice Caps!"

Physicians used to say cigarettes were good for you. Screw this nonsense.
