"If" by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
Tim is overrated. I don't know why anyone listens to him. He plays the fence and constantly says, "I don't know", "I can't be sure", and "It's hard to tell". When he decided to vote Trump this year, he did so with absolutely no joy or optimism, so it's easy to fall to either side of the issue -- regardless of who wins. He is happy to congratulate Trump for his minor achievements (near world peace levels at this point), but then says he doesn't like everything about him. He doesn't want to lose his liberal base, and he certainly doesn't want to be seen as a conservative commentator; so he ends up trying to just be a centrist. In reality, he's a really unlikable asshole and nothing more.
First of all, Biden is in bed until someone tells him where to stand and what to say. Leave his name out of it; it doesn't matter.
Secondly, a legal fight is going to look more like a pummeling for the Democrats. They don't have a defense. This was the establishment's last play: cheat and try to plow themselves back into power. They don't seem to understand who they're fucking with, and they've always underestimated GEOTUS.
Thirdly, Biden isn't getting inaugurated.
It's not like I don't understand. It's hard to stay UP and POSITIVE all the time. I had a low point over the weekend myself, but I realized I was reading mostly DOOMER commentary. Sorry, but it didn't help me. If I didn't have the high energy pedes around me to feed off of, I would've sunk. I also just spent some quiet time thinking without the commentary. Here's my take:
Trump doesn't need the job. He doesn't even draw a salary (a weird choice for someone that only cares about money). He could just be golfing and enjoying his life, his family. He doesn't need to put up with all this abuse. If I were him, I would've resigned a LONG TIME AGO. I just don't have the stomach to keep going with so many people calling me Hitler all the time, trashing my family, attacking my supporters, etc. There's very few of us that could really do it the way that he does. He doesn't get upset, he doesn't lash out at voters, and he keeps bouncing back.
So, I asked myself: What is this man doing? Why is he doing this? He doesn't even need it. I used to think he probably has an insatiable ego; but I don't think that's true really anymore. I think he actually wants to fight for our country and the people who love it. He knows the swamp is wide and deep. He doesn't attack voters because he knows they're just brainwashed from an elite class that has fucked us all for decades.
Ask yourself now: would you have conceded in his shoes? He certainly has every opportunity to just walk away. There would be undoubtedly a great relief in leaving all this shit in the dust. Inside, he has to desire a rest. Even the largest ego has limits.
He's a hero. He's an inspiration. He's fighting every single day to bust up the old guard and restore prosperity in America; he is the barbarian at the gates keeping the globalists and China from devouring us. If we didn't have him, it would all be slipping away. So, I have to believe he is going to win because this is not just a political battle; this is a spiritual battle, my friend. This is Good vs. Evil. This is Nationalism vs. Globalism. This is the Proletariat vs. the Elites.
So dust yourself off. It's going to get harder before it gets easier. There's no easy path out of this, and the Deep State will fight long and hard to keep their circle of power in play.
"Praying that democracy will stop him if he does stage a coup."
It's called counting the votes, bitch. Your husband isn't a Trumper. You have that look of someone that either beats her husband, or forces him to watch you fuck your gym trainer.
Calling them BLUE and RED states is just a way of helping you lock in certain indisputable truths: California is blue; Oregon is blue; Washington is blue; New England is blue, etc. Swing states are illusory choices designed to create a horse race each election cycle. The rest of it is most likely completely rigged top to bottom for the uni-party.
Remember the days when Romney and Obama debated public funding of NPR and PBS as if that were the cornerstone of real change?
Anyone who thinks like this is extremely stupid, and you're probably terrible at planning strategically. You don't REACT to every fucking thing that happens that you don't like. Trump is clearly in support of law and order; if you don't know that, you're new here, or you're a fucking glowie. Trump will gladly call in the cavalry if the local powers cannot handle it. He's done it before, but he's usually pushed back on.
