We all know it peddles "soft" Chinese propaganda ("oh look a typical Chinese apartment that Chinese people can afford!") and meddles in American politics (like, by pushing anger-inducing Black Rage crap at people susceptible to it in order to encourage BLM; pushing Orange Man Bad at kpop fans).

But it also curates some weird freaking trends. I can only assume this is meant to further meld impressionable young idiots into soulless, rootless freaks who have no strong religious or cultural ties.
