You are amazing! So wonderful to hear you are recovering from cancer. I never wear makeup, either. My husband has always appreciated that I don't look like a completely different person after washing my face before bed ๐
True story: Two years ago, I was pregnant with my third son (4th baby). I had a friend over who actually said to me, "How does it feel to be bringing another white male into the world? Have you thought about what kind of damage to society you're doing?" Totally obnoxious of her to say that to me, but to discover that this way of thinking had finally entered into my own world of mostly Christian mom friends (of many races/levels of religious-ness) was pretty surprising. Can't wait to give her a call when we are pregnant with the 5th baby - Lord willing!
My neighbors (in MPLS) are white, liberal, late 30s. You can't tell the female from the male counterpart- they look identical. They never leave the house, but crept out to place Ilhan signs all over their yard. I'm dying to ask them to name one accomplishment she has made thus far. Just one! People here vote for whoever will give them the most diversity cred. What an embarrassment.
This is spot on. I grew up in another country, and cared very little about American history and politics because I couldn't understand it. I began homeschooling my kids two years ago and have learned so much alongside of them! And when you homeschool, you have the freedom to explore any subject as much as you want. I have several friends who, while very left leaning and wouldn't homeschool for the same reasons as me, are still considering homeschooling in the fall simply because the school experience won't even be worth it if social distancing and masks are required in the classroom.
And this is why I love TD. Opponents beware...
