I campaigned for Paul. We planned for months. Infiltrated the Republican Party with Paul loyalists. Went door to door gathering signatures to get him on the primary ballot in VA as a republican because unless you have a D or R by your name, you don’t get elected.

A few days before the primary the Romney camp discovers they don’t have enough signatures for him to be on the primary ballot. They gathered the required signatures over night.

Nobody would verify them, no Republican leadership cared to check them. Republicans didn’t want “signature match” then, they don’t want it now. Romney was the candidate and the primary was all for show.

We still had plan B though. Go to Tampa and have the Paul loyalists vote for him there. The GOP changed the rules at the last minute so that they couldn’t. I realized then that the Republicans were no better than Democrats. It’s all a big game to keep each other rich.

I thought Trump was getting into the game for the same reason in 2016. I voted for Johnson. By 2020 I’d seen his true colors and I voted to have him re-elected. Now we see the “RINOs” and Democrats working together in broad daylight to oust him.

The two next big “Happenings” that I think we can realistically look forward to are the delivery of the assessment on foreign interference to the President and the electoral vote count on January 6th.

The assessment was supposed to be delivered today but ODNI said they would miss that date so let’s hope we get an early Christmas present.

We’ll know the situation by Jan 11th at the latest. Once the electoral vote count starts They’re SUPPOSED to finish within 5 days.

If the counting process goes to Biden it’ll be because our legislature has failed to do its job.

At that point our courts and legislature have failed us and the only option left will be executive interference or an uprising by the people. If President Trump doesn’t “cross the Rubicon” at that point he never intended to.

Whether you like it or not a vote was “certified”. That doesn’t mean it can’t be changed but that will require legislative intervention. 1/6 is the counting of the electoral votes and is going to be a show for sure.

Doesn’t matter if he did or not. The state is already certified and electoral votes cast. So unless the legislature (state or federal) gets off their ass and does something it doesn’t matter.

I am not a doctor. It was well publicized when research started that some vaccine trials may not produce a good vaccine, if they could do it at all. It’s also why we see vaccines with different efficacy rates. Not very vaccine works the same way.

The aggregate survival rate isn’t as concerning to me as the long-term effects of Covid. We can see COVID causes long-term heart and possibly brain damage in some cases, along with who knows what else. It’s too soon to tell.

That being said, with the vaccines being rushed we don’t know the long-term effects of them either. It’s really a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation but on one side grandma doesn’t have a 50%+ chance of dying from the vaccine.

If new versions emerge we’ll likely need new vaccines and probably are going to end up with a yearly coronavirus vaccine too.

A malicious piece of software was disguised as a legitimate part of the SolarWinds software. SolarWinds is used to monitor IT infrastructure so it has pieces installed on a lot of different parts of a network.

The malicious software was communicating out at a minimum so data was likely stolen. We’re still investigating the full scope of what was done.
