Oh it makes lots of sense.
If there were protests they’d say that’s why they had to be so prepared. If there aren’t protests it’s because they were so prepared for them. They win either way.
There’s no winning play here. Even if we show up in small numbers and peacefully protest they can have Antifa/BLM instigators cause a scene. They’ve prepared the ground, we need to pick another day to fight.
Wasn’t the nuke code 11111111 for years or something similar to that?
It was all zeros. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/12/launch-code-for-us-nukes-was-00000000-for-20-years/
To be fair, they can't help the swerving. Humvees were giant pieces of shit when I drove them in the 2000s and I can't imagine they've improved. Also, they go 45-50 mph because unless you got lucky that's about the top speed with your foot to the floor.
VPNs are about useless for internet browsing. If you don’t want people seeing what you’re doing don’t do it online.
VPNs are a point-to-point encryption model meaning everything from point A (your computer) to point B (their computer) is encrypted. Your traffic can still be monitored as soon as it exits point B and whoever is watching can see it going to point B so they know where to look.
If you think the company you’re paying for a VPN through will resist a subpoena for logs then you might have a chance but are you going to trust big tech to not roll over?
Having a relationship with a person doesn’t mean you share their ideals and morals. Especially in a work capacity. We all build connections with people at work not because we necessarily like the person but because of what we can accomplish with them.
That’s where I’d start. There are so many other things at play too such as “keep your enemies closer”.
So who's on the other end of the earpiece?
