Np <3 today literally went from not speaking to each other and planning medical "arrangements" to excitedly picking out baby clothes and toys together according to my friend. He said it's the best christmas present he could ever ask for. Hes super excited to be a first time uncle.

God bless you pede you unwittingly saved a life today. My friends sister found out last week that her baby would have mental retardation and as a result she was planning on having an abortion next week as she believed a child with these problems wouldn't be something she could handle or want. This decision of hers caused a huge rift with her husband. My friend ( her brother) had tried to convince her that these people can still have a happy life and she did not believe him. He was distraught about this so I sent him your posts about uncle Joey and he shared them with her. the sheer joy on his face in this picture.... something about it changed her mind. She is cancelling the abortion. According to my friend she and her husband have made up and are excitedly planning for when the baby comes.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and that of my friend's and his family. You gave the world a little christmas miracle today.

If it makes you feel better I am working too and almost everyone is saying merry christmas and some are emphasizing it like they are making a point to say it. It's great. The disease isn't everywhere fren :). I grew up in a blue state though so I know what you ou mean. It sucks.
