I thought about doing that until I realized Independents can't vote in primaries in my state. Not sure if its any different where you are but how are we planning to primary out members of the swamp when ineligible to vote in them? Just staying registered Republican for now for that simple simple reason. Think its the same deal for the Green party and Libertarians not being able to vote in primaries so imagine if you join the new Patriot party you won't be able to either.

Was thinking the exact same thing. I would register as an Independent but they aren't allowed to vote in primaries. Just going to stay registered as a Republican even though I no longer support them. If by some miracle this new Patriot party actually gains traction I no longer want Trump 2024. He went out like a cuck. We need someone with even bigger balls. I don't see it going anywhere though. The voting system is still completely rigged. Maybe we get some people into local and state government but building up to get someone from a new party into the White House looks damn near impossible.

Trump supporter opinions are basically set in stone at this point. They are smart enough to know MSM isn't going to win us over to their narratives. Maybe they could fool some of the less ardent ones framing us for violence but the majority of us no. Its the opinions of the sheeple still glued to their TV's watching mainstream media and buying their narratives hook, line, and sinker still that they care about retaining. This is all incitement to keep the people they still have fooled too angry to start asking questions. My own mother is one of those people unfortunately. Not even willing to listen to counter arguments or be shown any evidence that goes against what MSNBC tells her. These types of people are not willing to have any discourse they just take everything as a personal attack or stick their fingers in their ears, close their eyes, and have turned off any logical thinking. I'm not calling for violence right now aside from self defense but it looks like at some point it will be thrust upon us. You misunderstood me. I disagree with the content of the speech, not the reason he made it if it was in fact coerced. Yes I would do the same to protect my family.
Pretty sure there is quite a bit of middle ground between "going the fuck off" and condemning his own base. I don't even blame him for doing so but I'm going to call it like I see it. I'm pretty convinced this speech was coerced out of him in order to protect himself and his family. I disagree but can understand why this was probably necessary for him to do.

These were his biggest mistakes. Worrying about optics when people either love or hate the man with almost no undecided people left to be swayed. Then he surrounded himself with the very people he wanted to drain from the swamp time and time again.
You can support the movement while disagreeing with Trump's change of tone as of late. The movement is bigger than just him. People just see the writing on the wall. The sooner the rest of you come to the same conclusion the sooner we can all get on with our lives and make the best out of a really shitty situation for this country.

He is not in on anything. They are holding a figurative or even possibly literal gun to him and his familys heads. This man has been through complete hell for 4 years and fought longer and harder than I thought possible. I refuse to judge him based on these obviously coerced statements as of late. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that could have survived walking these past 4 years in his shoes. So I will respectfully disagree with his sentiments and remember him as the absolute LION he has been for us.
