These idiots are taking to everywhere, claiming victory, prancing around, and trying their best to rub it in.
When we win, and we will win bigly, my one truck won't be able to make a dent in the amount of salt that will flow.
Some of you have offered the possibility for exposing that China engineered COVID to allow the demonrats an exuse to shut down the economy and hurting Trump as a possible theory--and its a good theory.
There is no doubt that the contents of the laptop is 100% legit.
Given the highly predictable way the media and shitlicon valley acts every time a dissenting opinion exists, I think this is a setup to redefine section 230.
Yea, Ajit Pai already came out saying he would, but that seemed like yet another sternly worded letter. Also, all the leter had said, in short, is that his counsel had advised him that he had the capability to revise 230, not that he would actually do it.
This time, I think it'll happen after the election is said and done. And it will change the social media landscape unlike anything in the last 15-20 years.
We have made America great again. We will keep America Great. Then what?
Make America Greater might have a ring to it, but so does "unrestrict mechanoid technology development to smack commies back to the stone age".
Thoughts?
...to be worse than Socialism. Being told where to work just to stand in a breadline for two hours to feed your family is not for me. I'll take Capitalism in the worst of economies.
For a minute, think about what the purpose is of a Congressional hearing? Under normal circumstances, it's to ask questions so others can provide testimony in order to gather facts. In a politically charged hearing, you want your adversary to do most of the talking by asking loaded questions. The less you talk and the more they do increases the odds that they accidentally spill the beans and incriminate themselves--the soundbytes will write themselves.
This is just a chamber of children screeching for five hours straight where they do all of the talking and throw a temper tantrum for the whole country to see. They're embarrassing themselves. They wanted to put on a show without looking to gather any facts. All this is doing is lifting the veil for a brief moment for undecided and centrist voters to make their own decision on who to vote for in 2020.
So, we've framed this up to have the idea that the Senate's investigation into the articles of impeachment should be long and drawn out. Witnesses after witnesses, up to and including Hunter Biden and Eric Ciaramella are called forth to testify. Democrats are implicated in the very crimes that they have accused Trump of, and this also prevents Sanders and Warren from campaigning since they'll be stuck in the Senate trial. After the facts are presented, the indictments fall like a stack of bricks. Perp walks, trials with crappy sketches, prison mugshots, media coverage, the full floor show.
Then you have Lindsey Graham on the other end of the corner saying that the Senate trial should be as short as possible. When you hope for what was mentioned above, this is a huge letdown. Many think it's so that his own entanglements and past crimes don't get inadvertently uncovered when others are called to account for their various crimes. This is very possible and I'm not discounting this in any way, but I think he makes a point for a very pragmatic reason.
Think of the average (non TDS-addled) American and the 24 hour news cycle. The one thing for the last several months that most Americans have heard about is impeachment. "I want to hear about the USMCA or other issues that actually matter to me in my local area", they say. "No, all you get is impeachment. Impeachment yesterday, impeachment today, and impeachment tomorrow", says the 24-hour legacy media.
This is happening to the point that people are sick of hearing about it. We know they are because the percentage of people who don't support impeachment are 7-8% higher than Trump's approval rating in the aggregate. This impeachment business has become a dirty diaper that no sane politician doesn't want to be around. By dragging on impeachment, the Democrats have hemorrhaged support from anywhere that isn't an urban area. The polls show it, especially in battleground states where Trump has pulled ahead compared to EVERY Democrat currently in the field.
The best thing Trump could have hoped for was to goad them into impeachment proceedings and to drag it out as long as possible to make the dims look hyper-partisan, unfair, and totally insane. He got that. Now the ball is in the Senate's court, which the people know is ran by Republicans. The best thing they can do at this point is unceremoniously shut it down, rush a vote to acquit, and let America move on with their lives.
