When used as a verb, that is an accurate description of my life. Not weird at all. Proud law-abiding, gun-owning super-straight white male here.
That's a great idea for chaff in a crowd....
It's the Dallas Detention Center now.
White Male Millennial Engineer here, what you say is absolutely correct. While I have a job available to US citizens only, I have "STEM" friends in other sectors of the economy report that Indians are taking their jobs or providing unreasonable competition. And, being a landlord, I have rented one of my properties to an Indian in STEM and despite having several years of experience, he's making less than I did as an zero-experience engineer >10 years ago. These foreigners are absolutely depressing the wages of native STEM persons.
Edit: my side hustle is handyman activities, Sanjay pays out the nose for those. I'm going to encourage my daughter to get involved in blue collar trades.
Well, that's at least one person that'll likely be arrested now. I still think they should just go in with net guns and snares....
Cui Bono from faking this event? I don't buy it as fake. A lot of the weird behavior "evidence" can simply be explained by people being confused in the chaos of what was happening.
Unfortunately you're looking at the wrong dataset here, fren. 1.6% deaths across all vaccines for those reporting some side effect, it isn't amongst all who received it. The real probability of death is 113/13,794,904 (edit: or 8,436,863... their data is unclear) or essentially zero.
That said, these vaccines were rushed and are therefore inherently less safe than those with diligent research through many years. I wont get the vaccine because I am a millennial and have no real concerns about contracting covid and I am concerned about long term effects of having received the vaccine.
It wasn't scream-level but I got some Karen to say in the grocery store: "youre going the wrong way in the aisle"... "hey, the sign on the floor says go the other way"
... I just kept walking... seemed better than what I was going to say: "I don't care"
Zero. The correct answer is ZERO!!!
"They'd otherwise just be empty, so I filled them"
"Does this answer your question adequately?"
I'm a white, successful, superstraight male and I am convinced I am hated.
That document is likely farcical - first line, they clearly do not know her birthday.
I've often told leftists: "the only thing I am truly bigoted on is other bigots". To this day, not a single one has understood that I was talking about them and their opinions.
Don't worry, I don't think you're missing out - let that lefty hubby go frolic with his soybois. Plenty of us red-blooded men out there and we appreciate women with decent thinking-piece even more.
I never thought I would say that I am happy to be a millennial.
I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I would love for them to forgive student loans for another master's in engineering that I am working on but unfortunately for me I seem to make too much money... so no subsidized loans.... and going to school <half time means very few entities will loan to you, and I'm not sure those loans would be forgiven.
Definitely fair comments. Reminds me of some of Machiavelli's comments in The Prince.
As an aside, this tenant has had medical problems and has been in rehab for literally the last 4 months (thank God he and his family have continued to pay rent) - I used the opportunity of his absence to basically do some major backlogged work and remodels in the place (new floors and tile) since the house was for sale. I only noticed the freezer because I was in there and hadn't been for over a year and a half (he's lived there for 4 years). He even continues to receive frozen mail order food that I put in there for him - weird.
Back in college I folded non-stop with my multi-GPU rig (8800GTs represent!). I am sure my power bill for my dorm room was hundreds per month... if only there were ASICs back then. Now I am designing a rig to plug in my Bolt to charge and simultaneously run some GPUs mining at the muni building down the street which has free 6.6KW charging. So I know a thing or two about not caring about the power bills.
Sounds like a good opportunity for women and other minority candidates to fill their positions. I would have no problem with several more Boeberts.
That said, I'm not voting for an R again, the betrayal of Trump by much of the party and the lack of backlash against RINOs is unacceptable. Patriot Party for me from now on.
Yeah, in retrospect I am lucky that my tenants haven't abused me in that area.
I originally did this because one of my properties has a shop on the land that I have retained access to and I didn't want to even have the discussion with my tenant that while welding may pull several KW while it is running, it isn't running 24/7.
I did notice an extra ice chest in my tenant's house while I was doing some repairs in there the other day... which explains some of the 20% jump in the electricity bill.
Fortunately for me, I have not been challenged by having to deal with an eviction during this moratorium (despite having disputes with several tenants). Considering the circumstances though, and the fact that I am a vindictive person, I would probably be in jail for abusing my tenant if they decided it was acceptable to steal from me by occupying my property without paying. It'd probably be because I stopped paying their utilities, mortgage or did daily semi-disruptive work within the place.
My properties are for sale; the writing is on the wall that landlords are the new Kulaks.
Not to get too enginerdy on you (because from an engineering perspective, you are 100% correct) but some of the other reasons water is used is because of its massive capacity to "store" heat as both its heat capacity and phase change. It also is only moderately corrosive in an oxidizing environment, is non-toxic and ubiquitous on Earth.
All-in-all, water is an amazing molecule and most leftists don't understand that the majority of their electricity comes from a system that is very similar to the first steam locomotives and Aeolipile.
I'm literally done with this. No more new tenants until the eviction moratoriums are over; and, then, I am going to require 3 month's worth of rent as a deposit. I don't care about the interest being due on the money I am holding, I'll gladly pay it to keep my risks low.
These people (many of them my fellow millennials) really are clueless. They complain about the greediness of landlords while failing to realize that the prices are so high because there's limited supply and high demand from them and their ilk. They really should be blaming their peers for being willing to pay these "exorbitant prices".
None of my tenants have EVER done anything that made me feel as though I was charging too little rent; mostly the complete opposite. Then when you have them voting for higher property taxes and utilities prices (due to their green energy initiatives) they get rent increases. I have lost several tenants due to having to increase rent from taxes and utilities (which I cover). I am sure they voted for it... coincidentally the property they vacated was not vacant for more than a week... guess rent wasn't too high for someone!
Where can I buy one?
