I've told this story a bunch. In December, 2019 I had what I thought was the flu. Went to walk in clinic. NOPE no flu, have a nice day. I had a 103 temp, chills, lungs felt like glass shards when I breathed. Wife and kid had miserable coughs. I thought it almost killed my mother but apparently not because she has it right now and is in the hospital.

I was really surprised to hear she got it. I had the fire department at her apartment because she fell and they had to break in last Friday. So after they left I cleaned up and fed the cat etc. Then later that night they tell me she is Covid positive. Fuck. I have a test scheduled for this Friday. My buddy also ended up with pneumonia in January. Seems odd a relatively healthy guy gets it after coming back from Vegas for New Years?? I bet it was Covid.
