I don’t know if it’s what he wanted (and if it was, that he could ever admit it), but I hope that many of the less-insane among the left had some sense scared into them. The extreme voices will always get amplified the most, but by definition that means there are Dems that privately would like to see more moderation. Hopefully a seed was planted in their minds yesterday that eventually helps them find their voice and start to push back against the radical voices that have overtaken their party. The government should always have a healthy fear of the people they serve, and we saw a lot of fear yesterday. Psychologically, fear is a powerful memory and motivator.

Amen. They raised millennials to be the most tolerant generation in American history—so tolerant they helped elect a black president TWICE—and it still wasn’t enough for them. They foisted their own self-hatred onto millennials so hard that the latter almost fell for it, but now realize it was never going to be enough. Meanwhile, Gen Z has been watching, listening, and learning. In conclusion, fuck progressives, may they and their demented ideology burn in hell for eternity.
This is why I hope school districts looking to cut immediate expenses will incentivize early retirements and flush out the boomer hippies over the next few years, right as the oldest members of Gen Z graduate and start looking for their first teaching jobs.
