Thing is, this empowers the left. That same restaurant that you don't want to leave a bad review on? Roll in there with a BLM shirt vs a Gadsen and see how differently you're treated.
The blue haired person getting pulled over by the police? Look at what they'll spend the money that isn't a civil fine on; and what political parties, and terrorist organizations they'll support with it.
The petty bullshit is exactly why the other side is winning. Because the Courts don't get involved in that. It's also why the "silent conservative" is a thing, and why silent conservatism actually empowers groups like Antifa.
Because if you're not loud until they come to your door, then you're gonna stand alone.
The same groups, and same entities that you aren't willing to "hurt" are the same groups and people that don't see anything wrong with putting conservatives on a list, or social credit scores.
It's been said many times that Republicans always lose because they believe in a fair system, and fighting fairly even though the other side refuses to.
And I feel you. I wish we lived in a society where I don't have to be an asshole about things, but the fact is if I can give someone something to struggle for, or against; that isn't one of my rights, then you're damn well right I'm going to Sun Tzu the shit out of this, and uproar in the east so they ignore my shit in the west.
Mitt for all his faults (and there's a few) is, or claims to be a conservative. He will not want to be in a position of not putting a conservative lifetime appointed supreme court justice up for the sole purpose of spiting a president who, regardless of if it's two terms or whatever; is still considered to be fairly temporary compared to the bench time a SC choice would have.
They haven't seen life "out there" when the chains of civility come off. There's a reason no one fucking tries to break into peoples shit when you measure the distance between houses on an odometer...
It's because, as I've so fondly heard; they all have access to a backhoe that can bury you deeper than the cadaver dogs can detect.
No one fucks with that. Or if they do, they don't come back.
Hell, even in the city areas, there's a strong undercurrent of not fucking about. My neighbor's car alarm went off the other day (something that never happens) around midnight. I rolled out of my garage with my CCW holstered, and an axe in my hand. Neighbor came out to see what was up, saw me...

I hate to be a negative nancy here, but any actual move to an authoritarian position will be a long one. Also not a conspiracy theorist, but, here's an example of a long term plan:
- Turn high Electoral Vote states Blue, or at least purple. Do this through immigration, and techniques that encourage political migration.
- Once you've established hard to assault electoral majorities, as well as executive authority; stack leadership positions with loyalists. Make examples out of those who fall out of line (false rape accusations, tie the person to epstein, or pin them to the latest boogeyman of the month.) Do that for the majority of executive positions. 2a: After a school shooting, impose background checks and federal tax on ammunition, while bringing about magazine capacity bans.
- Exercise high level military promotions in a political manner. Stack the JCS and other such high level positions with loyalists.
- Embrace strategies that encourage civil unrest (inaction in the face of violence as an emboldening strategy, for instance) while continuing to refuse to address key points that will actually help certain communities. This will keep areas on a knife edge of rioting.
- Claim some archaic laws on the books prevents you from using the military without declaring an insurrection, and refuse to use executive authority until the law is changed.
Once you have that, it would be incredibly difficult to go against. You'd have loyalist generals directing troops who, by and large, will have gotten spoon fed narratives that make them feel encouraged to fight against the "insurrection".
That's why voting is so important. You literally have to withdraw from society, hope the eye of Sauron doesn't land on you, and wait for the general populace to either starve, or rise up themselves.
We need to. Because those gender studies degree holders will sit in HR positions in the near future; and if we simply roll over and take some of the shit that's going on now... they'll have the mandate to start cancel culture'ing your employment the instant you either step out of line on social media, or in the work place politically, or set you up for termination the next time a round of layoffs happen because of your lack of involvement in shit.
Make no mistake; the democrats set the rules that there's no hallowed ground they won't fight on. Get a mob to start jeering someone out of a restaraunt? Congressional backing. Fuck with an EMT's food because they were taken to the restaraunt by the sheriff? "Trumps America".
The Democrats have sidestepped the basic rules of decency in society. More to that, not fucking one of them in power has come out in opposition to the idea of lists and truth and reconciliation bullshit. They are playing at total war, on all fronts.
I get where you're coming from. You don't want to go there. You need to understand that those that stand in opposition to you will absolutely go there. Conservativism isn't winning because we're not doing that. Conservatism is winning because for the past 4 years, we've been inclusive and earned voters the democrats thought they owned.
