Also the objections were going really well from the republicans at that point. They seemed fired up and united, laying out hardcore facts, very convincingly and passionately. Pence was going to get destroyed had he not acted on the evidence. They needed to shut it down.

I think youre making a good point. Under no circumstances should you assume that your average politician is as informed as your average pede. Do you recall some of the hearings involving Dominion? Most politicians dont even seem to have a clue about very basic networking infrastructure, and the massive potential of fraud that electronic voting machines alone invite. These people need to be force fed facts, and for that, a ten day session with all eyes on them, could very likely change everything.
If his support and numbers were legitimate, there should be massive counter-protests and rallies against the MAGA protests. Its completly absurd and unheard of, that 80 million people would be completly dead silent, with the exception of a fraction on social media. Its just not reality.
Its much easier to destroy than build. Just like it took them 30 years to subvert values and infiltrate institutions that were built over hundreds of years, it can take a mere 3-4 years to destroy that work. Thats why they were forced to accelerate in 2020 and make sure Trump would not get another 4 years. A second Trump term would be devastating for the globalist's agenda.
