Discovery has to happen if the case proceeds. They are bluffing. Why announce "we will sue"? Why not just sue if you have the goods to win? It's a pressure tactic in public, 100%. Not having discovery would be akin to the court disallowing any defense at all. It's a part of every lawsuit in every court in the West, not just the USA.

I was about to post the same thing until I read this. "Equality" has never meant "Equality of one person with another". It specifically means "Equality of Rights, equality under the law."
So I would say: "Humans cannot be free without equality under the law and equality of rights." I specify both because one is man-made and the other is inalienable from being a Human being. Both freedoms are required in order to be "free".
Which brings up another point: the misuse of the word "free" by some. "Free" doesn't mean: "free to murder, cheat, rape, or steal" or "free to do whatever you want, whenever you want." This is used to strawman Anarchists (real ones, not commie Antifa twats) who promote none of those things and who do not advocate against laws or courts. Real Anarchists just don't want to be slaves to anyone else. In its real context, "free" means "Free to pursue your goals without interfering in the goals of others living in a civil society."
Freedom isn't "free" and it isn't unlimited.

You could easily make the case that ANY government edict regarding Covid restrictions are not only unconstitutional but a violation of what amounts to an international treaty on war crimes. Many people have never heard of the Nuremberg Code or why it matters today.
It is not a "law". There are no "laws" in science, only in "popular science". Every hypothesis is just that, a hypothesis. A single or group of hypotheses can form a theory for a given phenomenon, usually after some time has passed and some experiments have been replicated that don't disprove the hypothesis. The scientific method is almost entirely about disproving, not proving a hypothesis. "Proof" only comes about after you (and others) have bashed a hypothesis in every conceivable way trying to disprove it, but even then, should a better experiment poke a hole in your proof/hypothesis, it weakens its veracity. It's a common misconception that scientific theories are "proven 100%". They aren't. Some are more certain than others (i.e. gravity, evolution, thermodynamics, etc), but no good scientist would ever claim 100% certainty.
