Bitcoin doesn't have a printer that goes brrrrrr. If hyper inflation hits the USD Bitcoin will remain stable. If hyper inflation hits then people trade in non usd. Bitcoin isn't really capable of handling an entire currency but you can convert Bitcoin into other currencies that are capable of doing that.
I think Bitcoin is safer than the USD right now.
