While it certainly would have prolonged the war, Germany was starving for oil/fuel with their heavily mechanized force. In other words, they HAD to invade russia.... but perhaps forming some form of trade alliance first would have been a smarter option in hindsight. They also made some other horrible decisions like resizing the width of every train and track in Europe in the middle of the war, when things like steel are at a premium.
One could argue however that they were pretty close to developing the atom bomb as well, so who knows really. There were some crazy clandestine allied raids on the heavy water facilities in scandinavia that allowed us to slow down said development of the weapon, but the fact stands that they were pretty fucking close to it.
Perhaps the added manpower on the atlantic wall may have prevented allied landfall, perhaps not. As it stands it was a 5 to 1 outnumbering for the 4 beach heads in favor of the allies. The troops there were typically conscripts that gave up pretty quickly. If they were reinforced with some hardened SS units and the beach heads failed, the world would have been a different place today.
Only one way to settle this.
PUSH UP CONTEST RIGHT NOW
Cali here....
Our ballots didn't even have the perforated tabs this election. I wonder if the watermarks were included on the ballots themselves.
How are they still not done counting yet?
This is obviously a stalling tactic while they cook something up.
How is this still not finished after another 24 hours
He's so opinionated and matter-of-factly when he and the dems are jerkingg eachother off, but when he gets pressed by repubs it's always "I can't recall" or whatever. Literally slipping every statement.
I remember it like it was yesterday. One of her toadies was on camera removing it when it was wrapped up after.
Whoever put those sandbags up doesn't know what they are doing
My dad's fav was: "if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass very time he jumped"

Everyone is a good guy in their own opinion.

Flash hider 100%
My heart always went out to the SAW gunners...
Poor bastards.
How about some firebreaks too?
We absolutely use meters when discussing distances in the military. That's about it though.
agreed. Even though it gets a lot of hate, I still love my FS2000 I got back in 2007. It has that short overall platform length (29") but keeps a 18" barrel.
That thing can ping 500m right out of the box. Even Hickok45 loved the hell out of it when he shot it... (after all the laser gun jokes)

A heavier round absolutely has advantages such as penetration through cover and things, but you also need to consider the disadvantages as well. Being that none of the common loads will hit 3000 ft/s, you won't see the same size pressure cavities as a 5.56 causes. The closest is the 78grain which shoots at 2800 ft/s and is the lightest of them. Overpenetration is a very common thing with larger rifles.
A 5.56 can easily ping at 500 meters, whereas .300 blackout is designed for 300 meters. If you are hunting large game, or planning to get into some sort of urban CQB with lots of hard cover, the .300 is the best choice. 5.56 is the better option for open field warfare for the longer ranges and logistic considerations.
The best option would have been to have blankets or towels to wrap his legs with, or a good friend to bite the bullet ind hug them..... which could be risky depending on just how soaked his pants were,
Not sure if that trick works on a hard surface with the fire well supplied with fuel/accelerant
I think Firestarter by The Prodigy would go well with this
What you should do is go to the shop and ask to handle a bunch of them. Get the one that has a feel and features you like.
You should also have an idea about if you want pump or auto loader. (pump is less expensive). Also, 12ga. 20ga. or .410?
Since you are *buying for home defense, you will probably want a short barrel, and a breach choke.
