Same here. I thought I was going to have an easy time finding a job after college, but Covid lockdowns fucked that up, and now we've had Trump's second term stolen away from us. I already had little hope, now I've got absolutely nothing.

All of our problems have occurred because we ignored the Founding Fathers, and fucked up the great system they created. We let them down, and ignored all of their warnings, and now we've lost our country because of it.

Hahaha, same here. Unless a civil war starts, I'm spending the rest of my life pursuing escapism to distract myself from this Hell. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll eventually get a remote job and live in a small homogenous rural town with a <1000 population and pretend that America is still a nice cozy place to live.

We need a NEW government, with a new system, not the current one. The current system allowed all of this horrible shit to happen, and so we need radical changes to create a new government that won't be as corruptible as this one.

It was pretty recent ago that you could discuss politics somewhat reasonably without people disowning each other. It's mostly because of the 2016 election, with the left's propaganda machine going full-swing, and convincing most leftists that Trump is Hitler and all of his supporters are Nazis. It's hard to reason with someone when they think you're pure evil, and unfortunately most people aren't bright enough to view morality as being anything more complex than binary.

Kek, they act as if Democracy is inherently a good thing. Personally I've grown to fucking despise democracy after seeing how pathetically vulnerable it is. I'd rather try something new than stick to this current shitty system that let our country decay and become corrupted.

Culturally we're infinitely worse than we were back then. Sure there were some shitty things, but none of that even remotely compares to having our culture and country stolen from us by foreign countries through corrupt politicians. Our rights are constantly under attack, many of our largest cities have become 3rd world shitholes full of crime and horrible living conditions. People are so divided politically and culturally, to the point where a civil war seems inevitable. All of that is only a fraction of the problems that we're facing today.

Not really. It's more so things like the Immigration Act of 1965, and the infiltration of communists in every part of our culture that destroyed us.
