They are just the button pusher. They are instructed what to share and are either provided the text or draft it themselves for review through several levels up to and including the CEO depending on the sensitivity of the topic. Also most of these awards are pay-for-play, which is why there is apparently no actual financial health vetting by Forbes for this award.
In a weird way I'm grateful this employer mandate nightmare happened. It showed me that I don't actually need a high paying soul crushing corporate job to survive and that when confronted with tough choices, families like mine can reimagine their lives and become more self sustainable and centered. I'll never return to a corporate job again, as a matter of fact. So...thanks 👌
Car full of children, middle eastern people approaching people in parking lots saying they will sell you gold and silver jewelry so they can get gas money or diapers for those poor kids in the car. Also junkie white/black/brown people working as a team to ask you to open your trunk and get them jumper cables because their car battery is dead nearby, etc etc.
This headline is a bit misleading they are talking about two wal-marts both of which are in the city limits. There are still wal-marts all over the metro area - Sherwood, Vancouver, down in Woodburn, etc. The two that are closing have reported huge losses no doubt stemming from theft. They both are in horrible areas overridden by homeless and crime. The one on 82nd is rife with parking lot scams, violent shoplifters, etc and it's not safe to go to.
Yes my point was just that Boers have become a ubiquitous term for anyone older than a millennial when there there are in fact two additional generations, X and Y. Bugs me that people think people born in 1960 are still having babies lol.
I was at a birthday party with healthcare workers and one of them was telling a story about a patient and she started making angry punching gestures to illustrate that she wished she could have punched the elderly patient over and over again.
Put 'em up
