That is bullshit, they are just repeating hearsay. From what I have understood, if your immune system produces antibodies from either a vaccine or having it yourself, in that case, it will not be transmitted. Of course, there are exceptions (vaccine don't always take and some people don't maintain antibodies for a long time) but that is few and far between and we have never cared about that before.
Well I have studying statisics at University and even without that knowledge I could see that for that group of pepople the benefits greatly outweigth the costs. But I agreee that the last I would want is to be in a new york or michigan nusing home.
Amish people also have really good health since they work with thier bodys and eats own grown foods. I think I read somewhere that they have very low cancer rates also. I could bet that almost no people died from it

AstraZeneca is basically doing thier vaccines non-profit. 1 dos costs 3 dollars. It is the cost of production. JnJ are also doing theirs dirt cheap. There are good companys doing this for basically no profit.
Morderna are the greddy ones, selling theirs for 30 bucks a piece. Thats 10 times the cost of astrazeneca and i think 4 times the cost of JnJ (but you only need 1 dos of jnj) Pfizer are also taking a hefty profit
