Yeah. #MyGovernorToo unfortunately. I wasn't trying to harsh any buzz it's possible to get.

I just worry that a site like that will use peoples' information (which contains both their views and location) to cause harm.

If there were a legit way to recall, I'd be there with bells on! We need to tar more than their heels.

NC doesn't have a recall process for governor.

Even if it did, all change.org will ever do is take/sell/use your information and show that some people want something.

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. -Isaiah 45:8

We can surely hope, and pray.

Dissenter is a browser add-on (and a full browser, in which case the add-on is baked in) that adds a comments section to every page on the internet.

Not every page has people commenting, but it's great for (especially news) sites that have removed the ability to do so.

It is a bit echo chamber-y; since leftists removed the comments in the first place, they mostly aren't seeking ways to return them. Whether that's good or bad is up to you!

NOT Mercedes Lackey, Marion Zimmer Bradley. And her husband Walter Breen. And some of it was in plain sight. Search Breendoggle if you really want to know.

Sorry, but I had to correct this: it's a horrific thing to do or be accused of, so it's important to keep the record straight as to who.

So closed casket where people have seen him recently and would better recognize him as he looks now.

Open where people haven't seen him for half a dozen years at least, and could assume any changes were time or bad recollection.

Not fishy at all.

I upvoted, but have to disagree with the last sentence.

The free press was meant to be opinionated. It just wasn't meant to be a hive-minded monolith.

Disney has a lot of pedophile connections.

https://newspunch.com/pedophile-ring-disney-world/ That's the first one that showed up with a quick search.

They have also hired people with prior convictions, etc. It sadly shouldn't be surprising at this point. Most major TV/Movie institutions have been found to have serious pedo issues, and Disney has to be a prime pedo target with its focus on kids and large number of child actors.

If you're searching for predators, try looking around the prey.

Yes.

Platforms should not censor for anything except illegal activity. They should be required to report that activity to police/FBI/etc as applicable, and the offense must be hidden (not deleted) and saved until after investigation. If authorities say the content isn't illegal, it must be fully restored.

At least 2+ in line for that office alone.

After all, governor Northam wasn't recalled because...

The lieutenant governor had a #metoo accusation...

And the guy next in line after him admitted to also having a blackface past...

And then the NEXT guy in line was a republican.

So that's 2 blackface and a #metoo gotten away with to avoid an (R).

It'll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Eh. Some corporations are large. Some are one person. Corporate Personhood isn’t what the media says it is. It’s been around since at least 1886, and it’s the principle that lets corporations own things and enter contracts. It also gives them the same Constitutional protections as people. And it’s what let Nick Sandmann sue CNN.

Made the switch myself a few months ago, thought I couldn't be happier with it. I was wrong; this news makes me even happier with the decision!

I don’t know…

With the things women have been saying about him, he seems like exactly the type of man to drag a ho through the dirt.

And not pay her, too.
