I began boycotting Target when they opened their women's bathrooms to gay men and transgenders. That was about 5 years ago or so. Don't know if they still have that policy. Gave in and bought some stuff there about a year ago, but felt too guilty and repented.

Yeah, finally realized that diet drinks and carbonated drinks seem to affect my heart. Just as well to kick all the carbonated drinks, just like it's just as well to kick most media rather than trying to find something that may still be safe to consume.

This is why the current education of children that they can be any gender they want to be is dangerous. There will be a lot of kids who choose to be gay and they may never realize the potential God had for them as the gender He gave them.

And lack of male/female role model in the home is another one I've seen.

The BBC’s investigation was the basis of many media stories, including the one I linked to and the one linked to later in this thread

Just to get a better picture of what looks like was the truth, here is original reporting from The Times of Malta. The details are more specific than those detailed by the BBC-based stories. A French journalist also wrote a book on Gaddafi’s brutal abuse of young women.

From what I understand, they want small companies to fail so they can enact guaranteed pay to everyone who is now unable to get a job. They want to have it all fail so they will say capitalism failed and then everyone will be happy to have the government control everything as long as they will give us a guaranteed monthly income.

There’s also the idea a lot of them have that the population needs to decrease and if people aren’t able to thrive, some will die off and save the planet.

Just to not leave this hanging, even though I’m coming back late, I’m going to respond.

There seem to be some credible stories of Gaddafi’s brutality. Here’s one from 2014, which is 3 years after his death.

Not the ones whose children were raped and killed by him.

Yeah, I was going to comment on his brutality. He was vile and terrorized his country. Whatever the reasons behind his killing, he deserved to die.

Very nicely pulled together.

Two lifestyle choices affect testosterone levels, too. Alcohol reduces testosterone and increases estrogen, and smoking pot lowers testosterone.

From George Orwell: "We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men."

The obvious is another from Orwell: "We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it."

I thought that, too! Ha! They can't shoot straight. When they try to virtue signal, it hits a bullseye for Rush. Now Nikki Fried, Florida's Agriculture Commissioner HAS to lower the flag (for Rush)!

Any uprising will be overwhelmed by them and then they will have excuse to clamp down even harder on conservatives. I believe our battle has to be through prayer, winning people to our cause, cunning, speaking out, pushing back at schools and local government, and maybe just waiting until Biden's policies begin to hurt the left. The left will be pinched by gas prices, tax increases, rising retail and university costs, job losses, illegals taking their jobs, and so on.

He said domestic terrorism attempts to harm our democratic institutions. Since no business was being done inside the Portland and Seattle buildings at night, the democratic institutions weren't affected.

I think that the people in and protecting the government buildings are the valuable part of our democratic institutions. The troops sent to protect the courts were attacked night after night, with many injuries. This is definitely "domestic terrorism."

Eh, I don't think that indicts him. I voted for Trump because Cruz was out and I had to vote R to stop Hillary. Soon, I saw that Trump was among the top presidents we've had.

I would have to know more about these lawyers. "Gary" seems to not be confident about winning. That means any money contributed to them might cover expenses and then go to them.

We have enough division elsewhere--we need to be kind to each other on here. I'm not deep state.

Bless you, and I hope things are going well for you!

I liked what you wrote until the last two sentences. I guess you are referring to me being a blind follower and not learning from the past?

Trump was only one person. He had too much trust in Rudy and other advisors who wanted to go the full court and appeals route, then the alternate electoral votes route.

I read that Trump was supposedly also warned by Secret Service and other security agencies that there was serious threat that he and a member of his family would be killed if he was re-elected. I don't fault him for being a wimp at the end when he had almost all his staff, cabinet, party, and Supreme Court fighting him, plus possibly a threat of himself and his wife? son? being killed.

I felt everyone depended too much on Trump, and he had proven that he trusted his staff and cabinet picks too long after they had shown they should be fired. This was long-standing with Trump. Finally, he was boxed in by people he trusted who shouldn't have been trusted, but that was his own failing. So, I wasn't blindly following Trump.

Once Guiliani continued to say each next court case would turn things around, I started looking to Flynn, McInerney, Powell, Byrne and Wood for information. They presented hope of how the true election results could possibly be shown and upheld. They fought their best. I believe they were even surprised toward the end that Trump chose not to follow things they were recommending that would be Constitutional and would have the whole nation seeing the recounts. I still admire those brave people. They all have suffered harm for their public stand.

I don't particularly care if Trump gets back in at this point, but I want my country to be free from those who carried out the coup, and the election integrity restored. Get rid of the ersatz government and hold a new, just election and I'm happy.

That's right.

I like Flynn, Powell, Wood, Lindell and Byrne because they actually were doing what they could to try to save the country. They were doing what I couldn't do and I am so thankful for their efforts. This seems like something some of us might do to help them when they need our help.
