Ask your wife how much she will enjoy seeing one of two extremely qualified women being torn apart by Senate Dems and RiNO's for no more reason than Orange Man Bad. Ask her to think on that. Because when all the wailing and gnashing of teeth amounts to nothing, that is what will happen. Then ask her which is more important, precious feelings or the law of the land. The same party now threatening more riots, more violence, more hate, will go full clownworld to stop a qualified person from taking a post that is required by law.

As far as NY is concerned, supposedly the govenor and the nursing homes have been working to tamp down the evidence and have tried to enact laws to keep families from suing. This is from a friend that works within the elder care system in NY state. She has seen info both authorizing the addition of Covid-19 patients to wards with no infection, and the manipulation of the rules to punish staff that attempted to blow the whistle on the practice.
