Just tell them "Come on, man!" Works every time.

Not sure what to say to this. If you don't require evidence of citizenship that makes it foreign charity. Thanks, I guess?

FWIW, we have the same problem with central and south americans abusing the shit out of our ERs.

Really? I find it much more difficult to use left handed. Wish they'd make their UI changes optional...

And, specifically, you provided a number: 30-55% of your healthcare costs are incurred by Americans. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Primary government sources, please.

Well, to be honest with you I just find this exceedingly hard to believe. The New York Times is agitprop and so will say literally anything to encourage America to switch to a national healthcare, and your other article fails to load correctly.

At any rate, I assume we aren't talking about ER visits since those don't require identification in the US and there's no reason for people to cross over for that. Do you not need to prove Canadian citizenship when you make or go to a doctor appointment?

Wait... can a golf clap be intensified?

We live in strange times, indeed.

What would Lincoln do in the face of insurrection?

He'd do shit like turn off habeas corpus, and put journalists and seditious conspiratorial legislators in jail.

Commie Earth? Better to just make it another cold, lifeless rock.

Is there any difference?

They sell networking equipment for businesses. Things like hardware firewalls, routers and such. In the same family as the rest of the big iron needed to keep the internet afloat.

Just deport them for not following the rules. We have separate communities for this for a reason.

its just a lot easier to not take the time to build those personal relationships.

A lot of that is just the nature of the beast. If you're working at a company small enough to be able to meet the leadership in the hallway, chances are pretty good you're working at a company small enough to be out of business in a year.

I have a hard time finding fault in people for not wanting to make friends with people they might have to let go because the company didn't succeed. Not everyone has the mental strength to be able to get through firing someone who is bringing the company down while knowing their kid's name.

This is why people like Trump deserve respect: being able to genuinely emotionally connect with people while maintaining the mental discipline required for making difficult leadership decisions is a very rare trait.

Sadly, it seems more often than not the folks in leadership positions are either sociopaths who only pretend to care, or simply disconnect and isolate themselves from the people underneath them.

Regarding the capitol building, seriously that was them. I was there and was in the dead center of the crowd in the overflow area until Trump ended his speech. Getting to the capitol building took damn near an hour with how big that crowd was and by then people had not only already broken through the blockade in the grassy area, they were already inside in the damn building.

It was not us folks who were there listening to the speech; it was agitators who didn't care, like John Sullivan, as evidenced by the fact that he's been arrested and has been before in the past.
